Dear All, Happy Sunday morning. I've run out of my cytoplan sublingual methylcobalamin. Wanted to order some more but now they do this in a combination as follows: https://www.cytoplan.co.uk/vitamin-b12-sublingual-as-methylcobalamin-adenosylcobalamin?sqr=Sublingual%20b12& So was wondering is it good

Another blood test now my TSH is high anybody can help me?
My latest blood work shows a TSH of 12.24 H my stupid Dr says to decrease my Synthroid from 100mcg that I am currently on, to 75mcg ! Shouldn't I be on more Synthroid like 150mcg ? Maybe take what I think I need and not tell the stupid Dr,I think he just guesses what dose I need ? I am so tired

Help with New blood results. Started with functional Doc and want to know your thoughts. Thanks
I am Male. I started going to a functional Doctor as I have gotten tired of dealing with GP's that will not look at anything else but TSH and getting nowhere with them. The blood results are all requested by my functional Doc. With the results she has put me on LDN 1.5mg. Switched from Synthroid

Statins
I would appreciate any comments from you all on the pros and cons of statins. I am 5 years post op, 67 years old and have made a reasonable recovery. I recently had a blood test which showed my healthy cholesterol at 2.51 and my ‘bad’ cholesterol at 4.3. My Q risk is 13.5%. These numbers mean nothing

Post AVR and blood pressure.
Hi, I'm five months post AVR and mostly doing well. When I was discharged I wasn't taking any of my previous medication for high blood pressure. Great, I thought, it must have been the stenosed bicuspid old valve that was making my blood pressure rise. My blood pressure has gradually risen again to higher

LDL paradox
Hi, last September (2018)I went on a plant/fish diet, dropping milk/meat/eggs to try to reduce my cholesterol, which was at that time: - TC: 209 HDL: 54 TG: 71 LDL: 138 Last week, after four months on PF diet, I was expecting TC to drop to about 180, and here's what I got-- LDL went up 20 pts!

Test results what do they mean? Have gone online so have previous results when I was complaining of fatigue, confusion over last 5 years...
Felt fairly rubbish over the last 2 months- feeling sleepy if sat back unless using the PC, hence watch TV on a night and o stuff on PC otherwise I would drop off, or reach for something to eat to keep me awake! Hence the expanded waistline.... Appreciate your comments - is it the thyroid, B12, or

Obtained my results as advised by the community, after being advised by GP to go for repeat test in 4-6 weeks as borderline thyroid issue...
Hi Just done the repeat blood test for thyroid and as I asked why my B12 was so high they are retesting B12 in case of a mistake in the lab. (I was expecting a low B12, as my sister has B12 injections, she is hypothyroid, Hashimotos and has MS. Mum and auntie also the hypothyroid condition. I don't

Hi ive been ill for a while but managed to get out the house today and get blood results. Although GP did request FT3/FT4, they did not do them. I was told that from now on if your TSH is within range they will not check regardless if GP requests it or not. TSH 0.62 Range mu/L 0.27 - 4.20mu/L CHOLESTEROL
