Broken elbow? Anyone?
Hi, I have had RA for 5 years, but seem to have it mostly under control ( on Rituximab infusions) However, I have stupidly ( I say stupidly, as it was largely my fault I came off!) fallen off my bike onto my elbow.. yowch! Bad fracture...To cut a long story short they decided against plates and screws

EXPERIENCE OF RITUXIMAB AND TRIXUMA INFUSIONS TO CONTROL RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS - ALSO USE OF ABATACEPT with or without Methotrexate therapy
Hello, Sorry, this is a long post and thank you for reading it. I have been on the biologic weekly injections ETANERCEPT (Enbrel) for over 12 years. This treatment worked very well for me for a very long time. However, it has stopped controlling my RA since I have had 2 total knee replacement operations

Impact of CT and pet scan on chemo drugs
I am under chemo immunotherapy of Bendsmustin and Rituximab. Finished 4 cycles and next one due on 6th March. My doctor wants me to have whole body CT and pet scan to see whether lymph nodes shrank and start the 5th Cycle Infusion. My doubt is whether the dye injected in my body while CT and pet

1st dose of Rituximab
As the title says it's my 1st dose of Rituximab next week to hopefully help bring the inflammation in my kidneys down. I know everyone is different with regards to side effects but what does one expect and how accurate/good is this drug. I didn't even think about not taking the chance to get this drug

Hi I was diagnosed with RA 2.5 years ago and I will be starting either rituximab or abatacept in August. Has anyone else had either of these treatments that could tell me what to expect? Thank you

Due to start treatment but confused!!!
I am due to start treatment soon and have all the right markers for FCR. Would it be better to go into the Flair trial? This whole chemo thing scares me. If I was chosen for the Ibrutinib and it stopped working would I still be able to have chemo?

New to this community - CLL diagnosis Feb 2018
I was diagnosed with CLL in February 2018, following a period of feeling very tired, low Hb, shortness of breath and night sweats. After numerous blood tests, CT scan, gastroscopy and colonoscopy (to rule out any bleeding) I was given my diagnosis and told that I needed chemo treatment, due to symptoms

11q deletion, my experience and short story
I just finished reading a post concerning an 11q deletion being mutated or not. I have the 11q deletion, and have had it since first diagnosed in 2009 at age 60. 11q was not a big deal back then, as not as much was known about it 10 years ago. 17p was always the bad marker, and I always dreaded that

Guilt-free relaxing & Rituximab!
Hey all, hope you are well. After my septic knee scare last week, the doctors confirmed that it wasn't septic but I am clearly having a big flare across my body and was carrying way too much inflammation. They've decided that the Cimzia injections are not working and have planned to start me on Rituximab

Venetoclax plus Rituximab
Hi, I'm new to this forum and am wondering if anyone knows of any trials of Venetoclax plus Rituximab for MZL Lymphoma ?? Can only find data from the Murano Trial for CLL. I've been offered BR treatment after Rituximab monotherapy failed, and am not so keen on starting on chemo road. Andrew

Eltrombopag stopped responding
Hello, I am suffering from ITP since 1 year. At the time of diagnosis, my platelet count was 3000 only. I am refractory to steroids, rituximab, pappaya extract. Tried azathioprine but count is not going above 40000. My hamatologist started Eltrombopag and my count raised to 1.5 lac. Since last three

Has anyone got WG?
Anyone with WG? I was diagnosed in 2016; 2 years into retirement. Previously I was fit and healthy with never a day off sick. I had pneumonia and was hospitalised for 1 month before they knew what the problem was. Now I have to wear hearing aides due to fluid in the ears, I have constantly blocked up

Ibrutinib Partial Response
I have been on Ibrutinib a little over a year now Male currently 49 yrs. old my WBC count was as high as 350k now hovering at 85k. I am now on my second oncologist first one was adamant about FCR which I refused since I wanted a chemo free treatement. I have read so much about the new combination Venetoclax

What do all these Acronyms mean?
Is there a post that explains all these acronyms you all seem to know? I am having trouble understanding many of the posts because I have no idea what they mean. I am new to this forum and it all sounds like alphabet soup to me. What is ALC ? IhGV? FRC or is it FCR? Clearly there is a lot to learn, but
