Rituximab
Hello 👋 I took my Rituximab infusion yesterday. I was wondering if there are things that I should avoid doing. such as dental care. Some do and don’t would be appreciated. Thank you

Vaccine Protection and Rituximab
Now had three weeks since second Pfizer jab so as protected as I can can be and next week have my latest Rituximab infusion as per guidelines but how much protection do us who are on continual immune suppressants do we have from COVID. It seems to have gone quiet and I though research was being done.

Starting Azathioprine
Good Evening, I'm due to start taking Azathioprine today. In previous years I've taken mycophenolate morfetil and rituximab. My last rituximab was around two months ago. My doctor has advised me to take 50mg for the first two weeks, 75mg for the following two weeks and then increase that dosage to 100mg

How quickly can you relapse after rituximab
Hi on rituximab for anca vasculitis. Was told two weeks ago that I was in remission. My breathing is now awful and wheezy and coughing up green gunk. Is it possible to relapse so quickly. It was the 18th march I had my last infusion.

Rituximab and statins - a good combo?
Morning Peeps 🙂 I am having my first Rituximab infusion 24th May. I have high cholesterol and have booked an appointment for a phone consultation with my GP today. I think it's about time I went on statins to reduce my high cholesterol. We have discussed it before, some time back, but she was reluctant

Rituximab experiences?
Hello everyone I had a consultant appointment today and after 6 months on Humira, which has had patchy results at best, I'm now having another flare. So the consultant has said next step would be to try Rituximab. I've started to read up on it and it is a bit of a scary step. I tend to get anxious about

Antibody Testing After Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine: What to Know If You’re Immunocompromised
There are risks in trying to interpret these antibody tests yourself, because even doctors aren’t sure what the results could mean. There are many questions that come up if you’re thinking about getting an antibody test after the COVID-19 vaccine: What will the results tell me? Is there a certain kind

Neutrophils have bottomed out.
I am supposed to have finished my 4th round of FCR last week but the start of it was delayed for a week because my ANC was .5 (2-7.5 is normal). Blood was checked again last week and it actually dropped to .4. Here we are now two weeks after I was supposed to start round 4 and my neutrophils now read

Delay in Rituximab
Hi my OH was due his second RTX as part of his 2 year schedule. He has developed a throat infection and after contacting the hospital his RTX for tomorrow is delayed. He is well in himself, no temperature and appetite ok. Just more tired than usual. Will this delay cause any problems? He had his last

No detectable antibodies to 2nd Pfizer Covid vaccine.
This is a follow up to a previous post. My twin sister got a disappointing lab result today from LabCorp’s SARS Cov-2 Semi Quantitative Total Antibody - Spike Test: 164090. (Lab report result attached) There were no detectable antibodies. She waited two weeks post 2nd jab before getting the antibody
