Not yet diagnosed, awaiting laparoscopy. Extremely worried and frustrated.
Hi everyone, I'm new here and have not yet been diagnosed with endometriosis but am currently awaiting an appointment with my gynaecologist to discuss a laparoscopy. I am very anxious about joining but feeling like I have no where else to turn. (My story so far is quite long so please bare with me 🙈

Bleeding between periods
After years of regular periods, I'm finding I keep spotting. Every week I'm getting a mini period. I'm 44, no pain, no other symptoms. Had a cervical smear, await results. Also going to see GP next week to discuss. However, any thoughts about what this could be? Entirely new scenario! Thanks

This was my Journey - It May be Helpful to You
I had my TURP (Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate) in October of 2011 at age 65. Subsequent analysis of the material removed showed cancer cells in less than 5% of the material and Gleason graded 3+3=6. I was staged T1a by my urologist. To say I was shocked when I was told I had the big C, is

Still in pain after laparoscopy
Hello! I'm a new poster but have been reading the threads here for a while and have found it really helpful! I was diagnosed with mild to moderate endo about a month ago after a laparoscopy but (like many here I suspect) have been suffering since I first got my periods. They were so bad I would vomit

Feeling hopeless
Hi everyone, I've had symptoms of endometriosis since I was 16 and got my first laporoscopy when I was 18 to confirm. I am now 24. I've had two laporoscopies now, the endometriosis is located in the pouch of Douglas which makes bowel movements & peeing (yes embarrassing!!!) really sore. I've also recently

Ovarian ultrasound and HSG
Hi ladies, I hope everyone is starting the week well. I just wanted to say that I was experiencing some confusion with regards to the path that I'm on, and have need a bit of a release. Our initial GP diagnosis was male factor infertility, but once we got to the infertility clinic that was somewhat dismissed

This is a mind field :/
Help please! So last year I had the Lletz procedure where they removed a few mm of my cervix due to abnormal cells... I then went back 6 months later for a check up smear, some abnormal cells still there so had another colposcopy and was told it would clear up in a few months Recently I've been waking

Unsure whether I have endo or not? Laparoscopy questions
Hi, I'm 22 and have had symptoms for a while - I can date them back to the age of 15 but over the years they have become more frequent and more severe. I have a tendency towards hypochondria and I'm finding it hard because I keep worrying that that I might have some sort of womb cancer though I know

Pelvic MRI- multiple cysts seen on cervix
Hi all Got one of my scan results back. Am now awaiting another MRI and gynae appointments. Scared and can't quite believe this as I had a clear smear last year. Could possibly be benign but I have other symptoms that suggest it's not. Could be adenoma malignan which apparently is rarely picked up on

historical blood test records Pt 2
Hi, I just thought I'd post a quick update on retrieving historical blood records, and a quick update it'll be because quite frankly I feel like every door is being slammed in my face. Despite knowing my LFT's have been in question since I was about 8 yrs old there isn't anything 'kept' on file to back

Worried!! Bleeding between period.. Again
Hi everyone, I posted a couple of months back about bleeding between periods. About 4 months ago for the first time I noticed around a week after my period I would have light bleeding, I am concerned as the bleeding seems to be getting worse with each period I have and lasts a few days or so. New to site. Pelvic/abdominal pain. Offered laparoscopy, undecided.
Hi, I have had pain in my abdomen for around 5-6 mnth now, maybe a little longer, sometimes feels like severe menstrual cramps, stabbing pain, and can sometimes feel like someone has hold of my insides and is pulling/stretching them. The pain can be right low down in my groin, or a little higher to

Hypoxia
I'm dealing with hypoxia lately. It sucks. And, unfortunately, I keep having to field questions like, "Is it because you take so much B12?" or "Is it because you switched from cyanocobalamin to methylcobalamin?". I can only answer, "I don't think so", but, really, how am I supposed to know? I do suspect

Scar Tissue?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries over 18 months ago and started getting severe pelvic pain in January 2015. I have been told after a smear test that I also have a tilted womb. After many doctors telling me they think I had endometrosis, I finally got a lap done January this year. My results
