Struggling a bit
I thought I had been getting along fairly well with my treatment regime of weekly methylcobalamin injections. I had cut back on folic acid tablets to only once a week and hadn't had a return of mouth ulcers, so I figured that was fine also. In Feb I had a noticeable uptick in my level of fatigue which

I had swabs and a smear done

Been back to GP today who checked everything and all is ok from infection point of view just very tender over my bladder and lower abdomen

Could all this be related? What to expect from positive diagnosis?
Hi, I'm new to this but was hoping I could get some advice! From the age of around 6 I started getting UTIs as regularly as every other week, on average I suffer from around 10 a year now, I have had 3 endoscopys which all came back clear. I got pregnant first time at 18, which ended in miscarriage

First gyn appointment today... Any advice?
Hi all, I had my first gyn appointment today about my constant pains and sometimes bleeding after sex. She performed a smear, took swabs and did a transvaginal ultrasound. I have feared cervical cancer due to all of the pains and symptoms, however she said my cervix looked healthy and that I shouldn't

Coming off the combined pill
I always had heavy periods but 6 years ago they got heavier and very painful. Everytime i stood up I'd feel a gush, small clots.. mid cycle was agony and I'd spot. I had a smear, scan and saw a gynaecologist who said I was fine and it was an age thing. I was 30 at the time. It caused me intense anxiety

Lap tomorrow, need advice!
Hello, I am due to get my laparoscopy tomorrow and I have a few questions and hopefully someone can help me. I am 24 and live in Scotland. I am not one for visiting my doctor, never have been. I am at this stage now as I had an abnormal smear this time last year which then led to colposcopy, gynae consults

Help/advice/experienceplease?
Hi ladies, I'm brand new to this forum! So I'm going out of my mind with worry, mostly for the fact that many symptoms overlap with other issues such as cervical cancer.... I recently visited my GP as I was experiencing some pain and sometimes bleeding after sex (this wouldn't happen every time, maybe

New to the forum, due gynae appointment soon. Fed up!
I'm 25yrs old and I've suffered with pain for approx 8yrs, when the pains first started I had gynae appointments, scans, tests etc. Followed by a laparoscopy which showed I had multiple large cysts on my ovaries which they believed to be causing the pain. I also have social anxiety and a huge needle

Waiting for biopsy results...
Hi all, Its been a while since I last posted as I've has SO much going on! I eventually had a laparoscopy (after basically refusing to leave without a referral for one!) The original gynaecologist was convinced it was not endo and said when I asked "If you're sure it isn't endo, what else could it be

Smear tests: do I don't I?
Hi, I'm 21 years old so I'm early to have a smear test but my doctor has asked if I would like to have one just in case and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is like to have one? is it painful? just general things like that but I was wondering if anyone could explain to me in laymen's terms
