To ablate or not to ablate?
I have paroxysmal AF, diagnosed in early 2020, on 5 mg bisoprolol and Edoxaban. I am highly symptomatic when I have an event, with fast heart rate, strong palpitations, heart feeling as though it will escape from my chest, but no dizziness etc. and this can last for up to 12 hours before it reverts

Further evidence that even moderate exercise is good for your long term health - particularly when you have CLL!
I've often observed that our immediate response when we are diagnosed with CLL, is to re-evaluate our diet (good) and look at how we can extend our time before treatment and improve our life expectancy by taking supplements, for which there limited evidence, particularly when it comes to hopes of boosting

Hello, New to this. Had my first episode about 6 weeks ago but could have been AF for weeks as no symptoms. Had cardio version put on bisoprolol, apixaban and ramipril. Since then I have had 3 episodes; 2 lasting a couple of hours and this 3rd one is still going on past 5hrs. Decided to take my evening

Ablation Done
After much worrying on my part, I had my ablation done at Barts on Friday and I'm not dead yet! Despite the long list of side effects which might have occurred according to the AF Ablation help sheet, all I had was a mild(ish) migraine on the Friday night. No problems with bleeding from the site or indeed

Fitbit vs radial pulse
During my perceived afib episodes of late my Fitbit and oximeter reads much higher than taking my pulse manually. Sometimes the the Fitbit is double the radial rate. So I question if I'm in an afib episode. Is the Fitbit and oximeter wrong? I don't have any other symptoms so it's unclear.

Chemical names for medication/new oxygen tank & prescription
1.Last week i was hosputalised for the 14th time over the dropping of my oxygen levels If theres one thing everytime ive noticed is the doctors nurses always call the medication by their chemical names instead of the brand name. For example one of my epilepsy tablets ive always called Keppra But

Low blood pressure from ADT? After almost 2 years on Orgovyx my blood pressure continues to drop.
I’ve seen reports here where most men on ADT have rises in blood pressure. Mine continues to drop dramatically while exercising and sometimes just walking around the house. But normal blood pressure is 112/80 with a resting rate of 52 and O2 levels at 95 to 97.

Bisoprolol
I’ve been recently diagnosed with Afib and coronary heart disease and I’m taking Bisoprolol, felodopine and Edoxaban. Since taking them I’ve gained nearly 2 stone. Is this normal?

Is it RLS or something else?
Also thinking of substituting the Lexarpro for
CBD
oil. Does anyone have any advice or can recommend anything? The tingles I'm getting every night are unbearable.

Pacemaker Box Replacement
After 13 years my pacemaker is coming to the end of its useful life and I have been called for a replacement next week at my local NHS hospital. My current medication includes Apixaban, Sotalol, Candesartan and Furosemide. Past 80, little choice and am somewhat apprehensive of all that is involved. Anybody

My name is Steve I’m 58 and had a major open heart surgery just under 6 years ago. I have struggled with chronic pain since the op I thankful all that was done to fix my heart. I work as a landscape gardener so the Job I guess effects it. I try to get my workers to do a lot of the lifting. However

How long should I wait?
68, male, no underlying conditions, relatively fit, not overweight. Afib diagnosed 2019. 2 cardioversions in 2020, 3 months apart. No problems since until recently. Irregular heartbeat returned 2 days ago, after overworking on a diy project then stupidly rewarding myself with alcohol. On Apixiban

So I got my results of the echocardiogram a couple of weeks ago. Then we went away in the caravan so I could ignore the results. Got back, read my results and I felt my shoulders flump.. I have signs, they reckon, that I have a high possibility of Pulmonary hypertension. Something new for hubby to research

Feeling grim after hospital stay for AF episode - advice please!
Had particularly tenacious episode of AF which failed to respond to my usual Flecainide PIP. This led to hospital over the weekend. After a somewhat lengthy process I eventually returned to sinus rhythm with the help of more flecainide, more Bisoprolol and a new one for me, IV magnesium. I was discharged

Back after 5 years? Update!!
Miracles can happen (if you make them) Some weeks ago I posted this below. I have now completed, W7 R2 and twice exceeded the 'run' up to 30 mins. Don't get me wrong, it is very uncomfortable, but if you are determined enough, and ok in the knowledge that going slow will get me there, I will complete
