Update on my heart problems............

Good morning everyone. I thought it would be a good idea to update you all on my heart problems. For a start i am not sleeping very well which i think is worry as i see the cardiologist tomorrow morning at 10am. I have spent the last few nights down here where i have been able to get some sleep. I don't feel any benefit from the beta blockers i am on at the moment. As soon as i get on my feet my breathing becomes very laboured. Even talking makes it difficult to breathe as well. I am in a no win situation sat the moment. I am totally exhausted. I am so wheezy as well and i can hear the wheeziness in my heart which worries me no end. Yesterday i nearly asked my hubby to take me back to A&E as i felt that bad. I am feeling really rough and all i am able to do is lay in my recliner resting. I mean my RA/Fibro takes enough out of me without this heart problem adding to it. It is overwhelming me with worry about what is wrong and what they can do about it. This is all new to me as i have never in my life been like this. Anyway tomorrow i will find out the bad news and should be able to stand up and fight it. I always say if i know what i am fighting i can cope with it.

Have a lovely day everyone. xxxxxxxx

Sorry to hear your struggling, hope cardiology can give you answers. Are you still under a respiratory specialist for your pulmonary fibrosis, it may be worth so talking to them too. Hope you feel better soon 🤗

Hi Sylvi, thanks for wishing us a lovely day despite everything you are going through. You are truly a brave and lovely fighter. You have mentioned about wheezing/heart. Do you hear wheezing sound from the lungs as well? If so, I wonder if a pulmonologist may help. Just a thought.

Sending you good thoughts and energy🤸‍♀️

It is sometimes darkest before the dawn do you take meds to stop fluid overload? I’m sorry to read of your worries but it may not be bad news, it might be an adjustment of your medications. There is so much these days that can be done so please try not to worry as your making yourself worse and that really isn’t good. I pray tomorrow your cardiologist is as nice as my husband’s who takes time to explain reassure and help. X

Hi sylvimedway-lady is right.

You try, as much as you are able, to relax. What about looking at your beautiful photos of your garden over the past few years. That would make me smile and relax as you have shared some smashing photos over the years. Just a thought.

Take care lovely lady.

I know I was exhausted when first told BUT the pills kicked in about 3 months in and things started to settle. Insomnia was part of my issue too but again this has calmed down as well. Take it easy and good luck tomorrow. x

One thing my husband did buy was an Apple Watch with an oxgene measurer in it. It cost about £500 but well worth it as it records to his phone his readings anytime he feels breathless. That combined with his heart monitor means they’ve a really good pathway to check on. He takes his blood pressure twice a day as well. The NHS do do oxygen gadgets but not a chic as Apple and just pushing its button. Worth just thinking about and I don’t know but Fitbits might do the same.

Oh Sylvi I think anybody would feel worried/concerned with all that you have going on, your a real trouper & like you say once you know what it’s all about then you can put in place how to handle it. I do think it’s really worth discussing meds. I have recently been working with a lovely lady 89yrs old had several problems all clashing, it took a very good consultant who sat down with all her meds & went through them, by the end reduced by half the original amount. Low & behold within days she really perked up & started to eat better etc, as nausea was a big part of it so she wasn’t eating… do take care, thinking of you today with the consultant & look forward to a positive update 🌸

Hi from Sylvia in Florida! I too have had a rough few weeks. I am working so hard to be positive! I have been watching Tammy Peterson on u tube. She had terminal cancer. She realized her future was up to the will of God. She embraced medical treatment. She is thriving! I can just feel my anxiety overwhelm my body. I work on finding peace and gratitude for the love and caring of friends and doctors. Even tho I have been estranged from my kids, it becomes less important. Made it to one doc yesterday, have one doc today. Hope you have a good day, and hope your docs figure out what is going on and have a good plan for you.

I will have to have surgery darling, but not open heart it will go through my veins from my leg. It is inherited in my family so i have to tell my daughter and son as they need to get checked. My brother and sister has been told to get checked as well. xxxxx
