Scared of lobectomy next week
Hi. I have been scheduled for a lobectomy (upper right lobe) and scared. A pulmonologist told me I had nothing to fear and suggested repeat scan in 6 - 8 months but to not worry- it was nothing. My rheumatologist however, felt from viewing the radiologist report, that it seemed inappropriate to leave

Getting ready for my annual mud bath (at Glastonbury), whether I need it or not!
Today I realized how long it was since I last put pen to paper or rather tapping finger to badly bashed keyboard. Time has flown by, my man's business has been busy and I have had to to step up my level of answering more telephones and more in depth inquiries. Also getting on with the marketing and

Cancer fighters
i recommend to all cancer patients Ozone3 therapy...look into it on YouTube. Good supplements to fight cancer are: Ginger extract, cat's claw, milk thistle, pycnogenol....look up flaxseed and cottage cheese on Google...good for cancer.

VATS Lobectomy looming....
Well, all going well, this time next week I'll be minus 20% of my lungs. It's all happened really quickly after a very severe infection in January, the wheels were set in motion with the same surgeon who implanted my valves (they didn't work :( ) last year. Now it's LVRS (lung volume reduction surgery

Thomas Was My Cousin...Five Hundred Years Ago
I still struggle to equate the names of the people I find on Ancestry with real people...sounds silly doesn't it...of course they were real people, but when I'm lucky enough to find Church records which give a person's occupation for instance, and try to imagine being a Tanner in 1629 in a small parish

Have been listed for a Video Assisted Thorascopic Surgical (VATS) Ablation on the 29th, I was nervous before my 1st PVI Ablation, but think my anxiety levels are about to ratchet up a few knotches in the next few weeks. Has anyone had this proceedure

Natural healing and una de gato
So I usually drink this tree bark for my ITP called " Una de gato"
CATS
CLAW
, I believe it helps me with my count to stabilize at 30 ,000 platelets , I tried papaya leaf extract, that did not work for me.

Did anyone have a hemopneumothorax and was then diagnosed with Endomitriosis of the lung?
I am an active 23 year old, I have a tall slim build and recently suffered a spontaneous pneumothorax a couple weeks ago. I went to the ER and they found that my right lung had collapsed (THIS WAS ABOUT FOUR DAYS AFTER MY MENSTRUAL CYCLE ENDED COMPLETELY IF NOT LONGER.)and there was a small amount of

Oh, Mr. Belpit, your legs are SO swollen!*
It's been three weeks since I've posted as my motivation took a serious nosedive after completing W8R1. Yet again, I suffered a reaction in my knee, which did a lovely impression of a party balloon, and has only just settled back down (if you haven't heard of Devil's Claw, google it - it's helped me

Has anyone tried echinacea?
Hello all I've been on prednisolone for two and a half years now and I guess my immune system is compromised as I'm getting frequent recurrent UTIs. I was going to try echinacea and cat's claw to try and boost my immune system but came across a drug interaction with echinacea and pred. when I googled

Are we allowed to talk about Cures for Rheumatoid arthritis?
Best treatment I found was the Herb
Cats
Claw
, but when I stopped taking it the pains came back. I noticed loads of posts back and forth about treatments but zero postings I've seen so far on the cure. i.e. something you take for a limited amount of time and then you no longer have to take it.

Well hello WEEK 7 once again!
Thanks to brilliant advice from my main man Mr Ianoddatruffe, I successfully completed a 25 minute run. After continued setbacks recently I'd been struggling to run any decent distance and posted on here of my frustration at this. I got the advice my My Main Dude to repeat some of the C25K weeks, using
