Anyone Else with Extrinsic Allergic Alveolitis (EAA)??
Hello folks. I'm new on here and finding reading through Questions and Blogs really helpful, and know that I'm not alone! I just wondered if there are any of you out there that also suffer from EAA, and how you cope with your symptoms, etc. I have always had a niggling cough, clearing my throat

How serious can oxygen saturation below 90 be?
Here is a comment I made on the Team Inspire website, and one reply I got which does cause me some concern. I would like to know what others think. Comment:- I bought myself a pulse/oximeter online to monitor my oxygen saturation during exercise. I have been diagnosed with IPF after a VATS biopsy.

Just had my surgery. Can anyone tell me about recovery time, driving afterwards, returning to work. Any other information would be greatly appreciated. I have skin numbness too. Thanks

What can be done about the cough?
Hi everyone. After having a VATS biopsy last December, I now know I have IPF. I have done some research on this lung disease on the internet, and everything you read is negative. At this moment in time, none of this negative information bothers me. I am still active, I go to the gym, mainly for cardio

PMR & hydrotherapy
I just wanted to share my experience with other sufferers - my consultant offered me hydrotherapy treatment for my PMR. I quickly realised the benefit of immersion in warm water so I joined a health club to enable me to swim regularly. Starting very gingerly at first I now swim for 20 mins 3 times

A full on week with plenty of fuss and a wild week-end ahead and my progress with LDN
I have seen the sun twice in the last few days and really enjoyed it! This has been a mixed week, various little colds around the place have made me react in a flared lupus and all other conditions way.... however having climbed up again on my LDN, - my psoriasis is departing at the rate of knots,

Good news with my LDN but a rapid descent with slithery flips flops in the rain
My progress with LDN for my 5 profile autoimmune disease is beginning to bite now, mind you so am I since starting my physio again today. I had clenched teeth and I have been hissing at the humorless postman again. Personally if I posted a parcel the wrong size though somebody's letter box and the

Reducing inflammation of the gut walls caused by gluten with the aid of natural healing aids (and a Gluten Free diet)
When newly diagnosed with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity or when accidental ingestion of gluten has taken place, then very often the gut wall of the small intestine will become inflamed. The small intestine is quite complex as it comprises of four compartments within the duodenum itself: these

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
Hi my name is alan and 3 months ago I was diagnosed with ipf. This was the first time I'd heard of this illness. Both myself and my wife were so glad that it wasn't cancer we had no idea how serious this was we came out of the specialist room happy. It wasn't until I googled it that it sunk in how serious

Feeling gulty to be on here because I feel so much better.
I said from the beginning that I had not been to the doctor, but was reading around fibro to see if it might be my problem.
