Essential oils & other don’ts
Soooo I decided to rub a bit of essential oils I had for my birthday into my pulse points as I wanted a good night’s sleep......googled it after I put it on (something just came into my head that I shouldn’t have used them) and yes low and behold not to be used in pregnancy. Tried to wash it off and

I can’t go on
Hello. I am a 49 year old woman. I have suffered with Restless leg then home for over eight years. Up until two years ago it was tolerable. If I missed a night or two of sleep I could still function because it didn’t happen every night And I could catch up on my sleep here and there. At this point

Oh insomnia, please leave.
Seriously though, I swear this condition has a mind of it's own. "Sleeping like a log for a week? Here let me wake you up at 1 in the morning and make obsess over whether or not it's too soon to use lavender oil again." Or "going to bed early to compensate for me. Haha, you're not actually going to sleep

Would you recommend lamberts methyl b complex?
I have had my active b12, intrinsic factor and folate tested during a long few months with no supplements. both NHS and private GP think I should stop considering b12 deficiency/PA despite numerous symptoms. I am therefore going to try a b complex to see if i feel any better. anyone had experience of

Carrying medication n 'Hold' or 'Hand' luggage.
All you jetsetters...for medication do you suggest 'Hold' or 'Hand'? Meds not needed throughout the journey from A to B, only during our holiday stay and all are oral. Ok the list is: Methotrexate, Folic Acid, Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate, Ferrous Fumerate, Tranexamic Acid, Liquifilm Artificial Tears

Fully emptying bowel and toilet training
Hi, I would be so grateful to anyone with any advice on the below. My son is 3 years 3 months old. He suffers from multiple food allergies and about 3 months ago we finally got his issue diagnosed of stool withholding. I kept thinking it was his diet but his stools were often soft. He definitely suffered

Beneficial supplements?
I was diagnosed with advanced PC with several mets to the pelvic bone, in June 2018. So far, in my short experiences with doctors, they are concerned generally about supplements that may negatively interact with my new hormone therapy (Elligard with Zytiga+prednisone). I have been on this therapy for

Sjogren’s ?
I have had PMR for nearly four years and via DSNS I am now just about down to half a mg. I went to the doctor fairly recently over a number of issues and had some blood tests. I can see some of my results online and notice that my rheumatoid factor is 20. I’ve read that over 15 is abnormal but don’t

Latest blood test results
My latest blood test results and current symptoms. I’m on 50 mg levo at the moment. Is that about right for my TSH? My urate is slightly too high and my calcium is slightly too low – although I have a calcium rich diet. Do the urate and calcium results mean anything? Test results: Serum free T4
