Post Cardiac Ablation Floaters / Spots
Hi All, I received a successful cardiac ablation back in August, 2019 which involved trans-septal puncture. For the subsequent month, I experienced a number of visual aura disturbances without migraine (these have since subsided). However, 6 months later, I still feel like my vision isn’t fully back

Defibrillator
Hi everyone I have posted before as my husband had a
cardiac
arrest
in May 2018 and sustained a hypoxic brain injury. He had a defibrillator fitted in his chest as his ejection fraction was only 32%. I’m corniced as I would like to know life expectancy after what has happened to him.

An awful statistic on my local news
Then he commented "80 % of
cardiac
arrest
patients die either before or on arrival at the hospital. Another 10% die while they are in hospital.". A very sobering thought.

NSAID’s a no no for pain relief?
Had a sudden, unexpected
cardiac
arrest
two and half years ago age 65. Had two stents fitted. Now fully recovered and very active again. Got severe, very painful tendinitis in foot. Are NSAID’s e.g. Naproxen or Ibrabrufen out of the question for reducing pain and inflammation?

Light-Headed When Walking
However, on 12th December last year, whilst assuming the gym in a cruise ship, I suffered a second
cardiac
arrest
. After treatment in the carribean, I was repatriated to the uk where I was fitted with a defibrillator on the 28th Dec.

Moderate stenosis = disability?
I am 18 months post
cardiac
arrest
, have 6 stents, type 2 diabetes and have a diagnosis of moderate stenosis. I am in the process of being made redundant and I am trying to establish if I could/should register this as a disability.

Ablation for ectopic beats
I was wondering whether anyone had any experience regarding having an ablation because of ectopic beats and whether it was successful. My ectopic beats were first detected roughly 7 months ago and have since been undergoing cardiology investigations. I have so far had a 7 day ECG monitor and a echocardiogram

Introduction and Question.
Three years ago I had a suffered a
cardiac
arrest
, no symptoms, no health issues, a fit, slim non smoker with low cholesterol, age 67years. Thankfully my wife had taken me to A & E with stomach pains which she thought was masking something else, so when I crashed I was resuscitated quite quickly.

Waiting Times
I've been trying to find statistics for waiting times for procedures/surgery in Hospitals, but I've had no luck. Does anyone know where to find this information? I'm on the waiting list at my local hospital for a Cardiac Ablation procedure to remedy Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter. How long did you

An update after today.
I joked with my family about having to have another
cardiac
arrest
just to prove another set of data for the hospital. I didn’t think I was serious but when the half lives of amiodarone flush out of my system, then I might be at more risk of a Long QT caused
