Positive but heavy bleeding

Hello All!

I did ET on 16 March and today is my 18th day. I did HCG test two days ago and the results were 880. Showed to my Dr and she congratulated me for a chance of multiple pregnancies.

Today after two days of the goos news (18 day od ET), I am having heavy bleeding and clot and severe cramps. Called my Dr and she said to continue medication and do an hcg and bed rest.

Waiting for my hcg results but is it normal or is it a possible miscarriage?

Hello I am not trying to scare you but my miscarriage looked like this with heavy cramps too but if you two or so embryos transferred maybe just one didn’t make it and the other one has good luck I know you will be worried sick X

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. My Dr transferred 6 embryos and if you are true then maybe it is multiple pregnancy and one might have not made it.

Fingers crossed and badly waiting for my hcg levels which will come in an hour

Bleeding has been stopped now since the last 24 hrs. My HCG levels have increased more than double 1947 and tomorrow will be doing my ultrasound.

Dr said to put 6 and increase the chances for at least one or two to survive...

Hi , glad to hear from your outcome. I am having heavy bleeding after day 8 embryo transfer likes my period , heavy , red and clots. Yesterday I had light brown spotting with mucous. I have been crying and crying until I can’t cry anymore with losing hope

:-( I will call the clinic tomorrow. My test day on this Friday seems like unsuccessful treatment.

Sending a lots of love and hugs for you!!

Hi Vickie1978,

I am sorry to hear about your situation but I have good news for you.

After I did my ultrasound on 4th April, it turned out for me to have twins and both were normal and attached to wall.

My Dr said that the heavy bleeding, clots and cramp were due to the twins implantation to the wall. Mine was day 18 of ET.

I recommend you to stay positive and have bed rest and do a vaginal ultrasound and I hope yours is the same case as mine.

If you cry and worry, you make your situation bad where in fact there wouldn’t be anything.

Just stay positive and have bed rest and do your ultrasound.

Also do your HCG test and share the results. If the digits are high enough you shouldn’t worry about anything.

Thank you RM-Kab for your reply and big congratulations for your beautiful twins!!

What a relief to be honest, I hope my case will turn out with good news like yours :-) I cant wait to test on this Friday.

I will stay positive , relax , rest and eat.

I wish you and your twins are healthy and safe.

Thank you for a great good news at least can make a woman like me dream to be a real mum have a new hope now.

Lots of love and hugs x

Hello All,

Let me update you all with my earlier post that I have good news for all those who had similar situation like mine as I have explained in my post above:

Today is my 21st day of ET and on my day 18 I had heavy bleeding, clots and cramps. I did mu hcg test and results were about 2000 and did ultrasound on day 20 and we found out that I have twins all normal and nicely attached to the wall. My Dr said that the bleeding and clots were due to the implantation of the twins to the wall.

I am having my normal medicines plus injection HCG 5000 and Pruloton 500mg twice a week.

I am scheduled on April 15 for another ultrasound to check the heartbeats of my twins.

I wish all of you there to be positive and healthy and pray for you all who are or were in my situation.

God bless!
