I can tell you that she did not suffer. In 2018 I had 4 cardiac arrests. if I had been alone, the first one would have probably killed me. I was woken up at 3 in the morning by a pain between my shoulder blades. i sat up on the edge of the bed, and had trouble breathing. I had ZERO chest pain. No pain in my arm, jaw, etc. Cardiac arrest is not a heart attack. I called 911 immediately, and they rushed me to the nearest hospital. After only 10 minutes in the ER I felt trouble breathing again so I sat up in bed and called for help. and that was my heart arresting, stopping to beat. I felt nothing, no pain, I just blacked out. (And no, I did not have a near-death experience.). I woke up some time later with 6 people around my bed working on me. Then I had another arrest/blackout right away and then another one. then I felt a lot better and told them I had to go to the bathroom. I was sitting on the side of the bed and felt strong enough to get up. but the minute I did, I blacked out again (4th arrest) and fell on the floor. At that point I believe the docs said “enough is enough” and they gave me a pacemaker that bops my heart if I fall below 50 beats per minute. It has gone off hundreds of times, but I am okay now. I am SO comforted, knowing that it’s there to protect me from another arrest. I was diagnosed with mild heart failure and AFIB. I am on Xeralto to prevent strokes and 4 types of blood pressure meds. (I had high blood pressure for 10 years before my arrests, but I guess they weren’t treating it properly.)
So this is what basic cardiac arrest is really like. I never had chest pain or symptoms of a heart attack. my poor little heart simply stopped beating and I passed out. I assume Lisa Marie went through the same or similar things. no pain, just sudden blackout. When I die I would hope to go that easily and quickly. Bless her heart, she is with Jesus now.
