Strange reading TSH 8.7 T4 21.8 - confused!
She's suffered on and off with issues getting her levels right since (in the meantime she had a mastectomy due to ductal
carcinoma
in situ) Anyway about a year ago she suffered a slight slip on a floor - didn't fall over but was enough to cause an injury to her back.

Does anyone live near a pylon or overhead powe lines?
I moved near an electricity pylon around nine years ago, since moving there my health as never been the same (may be coincidence) I have had my thyroid removed and there was a 1mm
carcinoma
. I am on iron tablets, low vit d levels and I am currently being investigated for lupus.

Does radioembolization have any benefit in regards to ascites? I have hepatocellular carcinoma and portal vein thrombosis.
I'm 73 years old with hepatocellular
carcinoma
and portal vein thrombosis. I'm really suffering from ascites and I want to have radioembolization. Does that will help me with ascites? Thank you very much.

My mum had a an op on her forehead for basal skin carcinoma. The scar on her forehead is 7 "long. Now it's itchy and lumpy. What can she do?
She had the operation 3 months ago.She still can't go to the hairdressers as it's sore or risk any hair colour or perming, how long should she wait? How can she best treat the scar? Many thanks, Karen

My mum's just been diagnosed with small cell carcinoma.
My mum who's 71 was told on Tuesday that she has small cell
carcinoma
. She was diagnosed with COPD in September 2012 and quit her 50 year smoking habit at that point. A chest scan then showed nothing.

Suspected ovarian cancer 3 years after having a bi-lateral mastectomy for 2 different types of breast cancer
in September 2010 i had a bi-lateral mastectomy because i had "invasive lobular
carcinoma
" in my right breast and "invasive ductal
carcinoma
" in my left breast... 3 and a half years and 8 reconstructive surgeries later, I am still here and still smiling.
