Hi odee, welcome to the form. you are at right place.here u will get the answer for all query..suggestive carcinoma means still they are not sure about cancer...I wish she will be fine, I think dr. has suggested some more test for confirmation, there is so many reason for lump in breast, it can be Fibroadenoma..

Please go for further investigative procedure as suggested. .. maybe core biopsy or something and if there is a suggestion for surgery please consult a onco breast surgeon only. ... lets hope for the best n keep us informed

Dear ODEE,

Welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask, anything, anytime.

Mammography is not a foolproof test and many times, we see that the mammography report may not be in favour of cancer, but on clinical examination, the lump may look suspicious and when we do an FNAC or a Core Biopsy, it turns out to be cancer. This happens especially in the younger age group.

I suggest, you see an Oncologist in your area. If there is still a doubt, you can even confirm whether or not it is a cancer, by a core biopsy. Let your Oncologist decide whether it is needed or not, and what should be the next steps. .

I can understand your apprehension and anxiety. The important thing is to stage the cancer correctly, and treat properly, and she will be alright soon.

FNAC is more qualified test than Mamogrphy. You should immediate go in for Biopsy.Your oncologist wont waste any time that I am sure.

FNAC is more accurate than mammography. Do contact a oncologist.
