Newly Approved: 'Inhaled Levodopa' for PD 'Off' Periods
"The newly approved Inbrija, which Acorda expects to become available to patients in the first quarter of 2019, helps quickly alleviate symptoms of tremor, slowness and stiffness. With long-term oral levodopa use and advancing disease, these aspects of the disease can re-emerge between medication doses

Which therapy helped you the most?
Dopaminergic agents: These drugs, including Sinemet -- a combination of
levodopa
and
carbidopa
-- increase the level of dopamine in the brain and may improve leg sensations in RLS. However, they may cause a worsening of symptoms for some people after daily use.

Is the levodopa in sinement any different then the levodopa in mucuna?
the
levodopa
crosses the blood brain barrier with inclusion of
carbidopa
and the
levodopa
in mucuna has nothing aiding this transfer thus less reaches the brain (unless you pair w/ Vitamin C, EGCG, Fish oil, etc)? is the synthetic worse then the natural?

Missing doses
I asked this question which might be seemingly stupid because I have gotten mixed answers on the subject. To me, it sometimes feels good to rid my brain of mucuna or any other l-dopa product and allow it to fend for itself, even though my PD symptoms would be more evident. My thinking is perhaps primitive

WHAT ABOUT OTHER B VITAMINS
I have read that B-1 interferes with other B vitamins. I've also read that B6 is depleted in PD patients that are taking Levodopa.

Long term use of Macuna Pruriens
Are there any negative side effects in using Macuna Pruriens, such as the side effects of long term use of Carbidopa or Sinemet? DBS for Non-Tremor PD?
Has anyone here with non-tremor dominant PD undergone Deep Brain Stimulation? Did it help w/ balance? Couple of weeks ago, my neurologist suggested DBS to ease the dystonia in my arm and help my balance. This stunned me b/c I had thought that while DBS was good for reducing tremors and dyskinesia
