Excel spreadsheet that tracks a levodopa dose?
Someone had shared an interactive spreadsheet they created that allowed a user to input doses of levodopa to see peak dose, wearing off, etc. I've been searching with keywords but can't find it. Can anyone give me a link? It was posted last year, I believe.

Anxiety Strategies
Hi folks, After reading the excellent article posted four months ago by Sydney75 (link below), it got me thinking about a few things... https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0753332220309690 2 years post-diagnosis I'd still say anxiety is my main issue. Motor stuff not giving me too

Mum newly diagnosed with MSA-P and we are all struggling
Hello everyone I hope you don’t mind me starting a post, I’ve never really used a forum before so I am very unsure if this is the correct place to post. My Mum (69) developed a twitch in her finger many years ago which went away. She was a very slow walker but apart from that we didn’t think anything

How to reduce prolactin and increase AR success/longevity? L-Dopa and Vitex Berry?
Cabergoline reduces prolactin, which promotes prostate cancer mutation and growth. If a doctor will not prescribe Cabergoline, then would Mucuna (natural L-Dopa) extract and Vitex Berry extract have the same effectiveness as the cabergoline, in targeting and reducing prolactin? I recall someone on

COMT inhibitors
Hubby is doing really well at the moment and I think one of the things that has helped has been the introduction of 1/2 a entacapone tablet taken at the same time as his madopar/ mucuna doses. According to his genetic report his COMT appeared to be one thing that was functioning normally so I was a

Tasigna off label for parkinson's disease. What happens when the smallest kid on the block gets run out of town. Time for a vote.
Hello People With Parkinson's (PWP). I started this post two weeks ago. It wasn't worth the effort so I deleted it. I was hurting at the tim, my levodopa tank was running on fumes. I reminded myself that if I couldn't be cured I would try to make it easier for the next person. I am in my

I have been offered Entacapone. I would appreciate hearing your own thoughts and experiences.
I am doing pretty well 7 years post dx, but my neurologist wants to add Entacapone to my 4x Levodopa per day regime to shorten my downtime, and I am uncertain whether it’s the way I want to go. Probably my own prejudice against taking too much and my probably mistaken belief that this drug is more for

Experiences with bHaptics TactGloves for Tass vCR stimulation paradigm?
Hi, I am wondering what experiences people have with the bHaptics TactGloves in trying out the vibrotactile Coordinated Reset (vCR) paradigm by Peter Tass and colleagues? These gloves (https://www.bhaptics.com/shop/tactglove) are an affordable ready-made solution for vibration stimulation so I would

Requested help for further training of neurologist
It was about the amount of
levodopa
. The
carbidopa
was only added because of possible nausea and stomach upset. Well, then you are speechless, whatever language you speak.

Dopaminergic agents: These drugs, including Sinemet -- a combination of
levodopa
and
carbidopa
-- increase the level of dopamine in the brain and may improve leg sensations in RLS.

Mucuna pruriens plus carbidopa
(FYI I copied my own post from a fb group to save time. ) This is what I'm doing (mucuna pruriens plus carbidopa). It has been challenging to figure out, but my results are excellent. I've been experimenting with it since the end of September 2022. I think dosing is probably very unique for each person
