Better L-Dopa delivery?
Hello all! I read this about the paradise brand capsules in terms of how to deliver that although bit better: “this product is very effective, but note what they don't tell you, is that in order for the brain to make it into the enzyme that utilizes L-dopa you require an activator like Green Tea or

Sinemet, how much is too much?
I'm wondering is there is a scientific guidance or a rule of thumb about how much Sinemet is too much for PWP. I have been very careful about the intake of C/L because of the side effects will come with the long time use of this drug but my panic button was activated when I read a post from a member

A bioproduct rich in L-dopa
Has anyone had experience with Symprove probiotic or Atremoplus, we know a PWP taking the latter and is having great results, also very good reviews on livebetterwith parkinsons.com. My hubby would really like to try one or the other, the cost is very expensive, which we don't mind if it would help

Foot cramps
I have had PD for 16 years and there is one thing I just can't seem to manage through and that's foot cramps in my left foot when I awake in the am, or go 4 hours without my carbidopa ( after I take two tablets the cramps disappear in about 30 - 45 ) any suggestions?

A year ago yesterday I officially retired to become a professional caregiver. Not sure how professional I am but we’re supposed to say that so as not to feel invisible. This is explained in a book that someone mentioned on this site titled “The Selfish Pig’s Guide To Caring”. I’ve only read a few chapters

Why should not we increase L-Dopa bioavailability in the Brain
After watching this video you will find out why you shouldn’t manipulate the L Dopa bioavailability in the brain. https://youtu.be/_eq28PCvfsg You are trying to balance something but you will end up messing with the same thing, in this case the Dopamine.

Awful lot of levodopa for such a short disease duration
Anyone on 6 x
Carbidopa
Levodopa
25/100 mg, less than 2 years after diagnosis? My neuro is increasing my c/l from 1 tablet 3 x a day to 2 tablets 3 x a day. It seems to me like it's an awful lot of levodopa for such a short disease duration.

Can you take sinemet and sertraline (Zoloft) together ?
Can you take them together or do they need to be spaced out. Scratching your head for the origin of Parkinsons - is there a common link between Dandruff and PD ?
This Canadian-Spanish team examines the hypothesis that the micro-fungus, Malassezzia which causes dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (SD) xould get into the brain and damage cells. The association between the two conditions may also be due to a common factor that helps promote both conditions. Not

Apomorphine is a somewhat strange Dopamine Agonist (non-egoline DA Parky B!) that required subcutaneous injections. It certainly hasn't been a mainline DA prescription in the USA. Sunovian developed back in 2012 a 2 part sublingual film that was applied under the tongue to reduce the difficulties of
