Thinking to start vitamin B complex. pls. share your experience of using it.
My legs and limb are wobbling while walking but i feel improvement in my balance after taking levodopa/carbidopa/Entacapone (100/25/400)/day and Q10, 200 mg/ day.
Does B1 helping strengthening wobbliness? is it ok to use B-complex or just B1 (thiamine)?

I have read here on this message board that high doses of B1 may help. I am taking 2 pills 500mg each, twice a day for a total of 2000 mg/2g per day. So far, no improvement, but it may be too soon to tell. There is that doctor in Italy who prescribes this regimen. He may use even more, like 3000 mg. I believe he is dealing with Parkinson's.
Hi ninochka, thanks for your input. Actually there are lots of stuff for v-b1 on the forum. That's made my mind to try this regimen. pls. keep posted the outcome of your tenure for this. Thanks again for your input.
Tons of info on B1 on the Parkinson's Community of HU. Also many of us on it....keeps me walking, and helps with balance. Look for member 'Chartist', all info on his site for HDT...high dose thiamine. Best wishes.
