Kinda low eggs, smoking partner & low fertilisation with icsi
Hi does anybody know why doctors want you to take Norethisterone before your stimulation? I’m worried this would suppress the number of follicles? I am doing second ivf cycle starting stimulation in 2 weeks, last cycle didn’t go well or how I expected at all, I had low fertilisation with icsi only

Hypodensities < 1 cm, dome of liver
Hello, first time poster on this forum. I had a CT Cardiac Calcium Score test done and it came out fine, but it picked up several hypodensities <1 cm in the dome, probably cysts. I have had some discomfort along my rib cage in that area, only when I lay down on my stomach, that I attributed to soreness

Blood Calcium Level of 134
Good afternoon. My husband's blood test results came in today and thankfully, his PSA is <0.1. His blood calcium level, however, is 134, which is far too high. The doctor has requested a Coronary Calcium Scan as she is worried about Calcium build up in his arteries. I am also concerned about his

Information on calcium supplements please.
Hi, Two more recent spinal fractures bringing it to a total of nine has raised quite a few more questions. I have always been told I do not need a calcium supplement because my levels are very good. This is questionable as we do not think I am getting enough from my diet alone, also I was told a few

Do I need to be checked out
Hi I had an AF episode a week ago and then went into fast Sinus with a heart beat of 140. 6 days later I went into Kings for a routine endoscopy for my 3 yearly verecies check for my liver cirrhosis. My heart was still tackicardic. First they could not get the camera down my throat due to severe swallowing

AMOLODIPINE WITH CALCIUM TABLETS
I'm taking Amolodipine for raised blood pressure. I also take 1000mg calcium for pre -osteoporosis. I am finding conflicting advice whether Amolodipine (calcium antagonist) should be taken with calcium. Can anyone help?

Curveball: Actemra and Fosamax!
I got a second opinion on my PMR situation and the new doc immediately wanted to put me on Actemra and Fosamax. I didn't agree to do it yet, so I could query folks here about it and think on it. My first and current rheumatologist said it was unlikely that I had GCA but the second opinion guy thought

CT Scan
Just had a phone call from my Cardiologist following my scan, he was very pleased with the results and my stents are keeping the bloodflow good and my calcium score was better than 75% of the population of my age. He did notice the lower part of my lungs were not very efficient, but being a retired

Co-supplementation of Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 MK7 and Calcium
Unless you are actively increasing your Vitamin K2 MK7 levels through diet or supplementation, you are likely deficient and have inadequate levels for your bone and heart health needs. Vitamin K2 MK7 dosage recommendation is 150 to 180 mcg per day. Consult with your physician and a Registered Dietitian

CT Scan
I had a CT Cardiac Angiogram and calcium Scoring today. All went well and apart from the odd hot feeling when the die was injected there were no effects. That is until about 1 hour later I ached in every joint arms, legs and shoulders. I contacted the hospital and was referred to my GP and am now waiting

Parkinson's Disease and Neurodegeneration: GABA-Collapse Hypothesis
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4899466/ This is quite old but interesting . GABA does seem to calm hubby when he is agitated. “Neurodegenerative diseases constitute a heterogeneous group of age-related disorders that are characterized by a slow but irreversible deterioration of brain functions
