Original Biopsy Stats [2/5/21] and then I procrastinated...I'm not enthusiastic at this point...

Gleason 4+3 and 3+3

cores pos: 4

PSA: 13.8 [then] > now 25

PSA Density .34

Clinical state cT1C

I've signed up for SBRT...Kaiser NCal. Dr. Mohan

5 treatment sessions@15 min each. Gold anchors,

Prior to the treatment:

MRI, etc.

50mg Casodex for 28 days

45mg Lupron 1x

Calcium and Vit D3 and then I'm not sure about what the follow up med program is going to be.

If you have had this treatment, kindly lmk about your experiance. Of course, I am particulary worried about after effects. I'm 73 gay man....and in relatively good health otherwise.

Thanks

T

I had SBRT 11 years ago for low risk PCa. No lasting side effects other than loss of cum.

With your high risk PCa, it's a good idea to have a PSMA PET scan first to make sure you don't have any distant metastases.

Hi Tall_Allen, they did the those scans a year ago and it was all good...no bone or other areas of metastes....but that was a year ago....do you think a do over is warranted?

Nope. That's fine. Hopefully, it will cure you as it did me.
