Sorry It seems to be all questions from me atm. I had my DEXA scan yester day and the T readings have gone from spine -0.9 to spine -1.8 femur -0.8 to -1.2 with L1 moving from -0.7 to -2.1. This is over a period of 2 years with at least 12.5mg of prednisone the whole time. I have calcium and vit D supplements. Do i need to ask for Bisphosphates now as I have never taken any and am still on 15mg of pred so wont be coming off any time soon. ps After my fall and 3 days of extra 5mg I am pain free again so thank you. Will go back to 15mg tomorrow.

That is a considerable change so to be fair there is a place for discussion about a bisphosphonate.
Might be worth visiting the ROS website - if you were in the UK I'd suggest calling their helpline - do you use Skype?
They have a from outside UK number on their website so I will ring them Thank you as I have a UK mobile as well which atm is still free roaming.
They were very helpful and agreed I should be looking at bisphosphates and maybe upping the calcium I have been prescribed to 7 days a week atm take it 3. I didn't realise you don't store it so will ask after next bloods done. Rheum consult on 3rd May. Also suggested some more weight bearing exercise which is slightly hard with the bursitis but I will try. Have to reduce my wine consumption a bit too
Your rheumatologist appointment is soon, so see what they say. You have been given guidance on how you should react to their suggestions.
