Calcium
You don't give your age. 10.5 for a teenager or early 20's is pretty common. Over 35 years old it is too high, but not ridiculously high. In fact some labs consider 10.5 normal. It certainly does NOT mean it is definitely caused by your kidney. IF it was caused by kidney problems you would notice other measurements in your blood work being too high (Creatinine, Potassium, etc.).(by too high I mean that they increased over you most recent blood test. I am 3b. I have had Calcium levels sometimes hit 11.2, then the next blood test be 9.x. MANY things can cause it to push near the 10.5 mark. If for example you take diuretics for blood pressure, if you simply take calcium tablets with Vitamin D, if you take a daily vitamin tablet with higher levels of Calcium, Vitamin D. 10.5 is hardly a reason to panic. Not by any means.
