Numbers Through The Roof!
The doctors are stumped. We are bummed. Here we are, nearing retirement age, and all we want for Christmas is his good health back! My husband (age 58) is not a diabetic. He is not overweight. Never has been. He has only ever been an occasional social drinker. When I say occasional I mean maybe 2 or

Feeling grim after hospital stay for AF episode - advice please!
Had particularly tenacious episode of AF which failed to respond to my usual Flecainide PIP. This led to hospital over the weekend. After a somewhat lengthy process I eventually returned to sinus rhythm with the help of more flecainide, more Bisoprolol and a new one for me, IV magnesium. I was discharged

Magnesium supplement - how much per day?
Until a few days ago I was taking soluble Magnellon 300 mg each day in the early evening, after food. I've been doing this since PMR diagnosis in August 2020. For the last 3 months or so I've been experiencing 'flutterings' in my legs and feet when I'm relaxing and in bed at night. Having read

Disrupted sleep with increased T4
Hello dear Thyroid UK, I had thyroid cancer in August 2021 with part of my thyroid and a parathyroid removed. Since then, I've been trying to get an ideal dose of Levothyroxine T4. I did take a very low dose of T3 (Cytomel) briefly. I felt great alert-wise but experienced headaches, nausea and anxiety
