Lanzaprozole and magnesium deficiency
Hi all, I was diagnosed with GCA in 2018. With the help and support of this group I came through some tough times, and will always be grateful for that. After a very gradual taper, I have now completed 13 months without prednisolone, and, fingers crossed, the GCA is still quiet. I am still having sub-cutaneous

Leg Cramps
HI fellow MPNers, Just wondering if anyone else is suffering with severe leg cramps - sometime toes too ?? These are leaving me with sore legs for days after and I thank god my husband has been on hand on a couple of occasions to massage them hard for me. Could this be a symptom of PV or a side effect

Migraines, headaches, and relationship to b12
I feel like I spend half my life with a headache these days š Thereās definitely migraine with prodrome/aura, which I suspect would be there to some degree without the PA as itās so hormonal. Then thereās tension headaches, bad posture headaches, and a weird sort of one that feels like a sinus pressure

calcium supplement
I would like to know, if itās beneficial to take calcium 1200 mg with 1000u D3 for someone who is on trelstar, xtandi and completed radiation. Dexa scan shows osteoarthritis. Stage 4 also with pacemaker. I am asking specifically about calcium, I am aware of D3 studies .

Adcal-D3
Just a quick query. Has anyone else suffered from nausea when taking Adcal-D3 chewable? I was wondering if the tablets contain lactose, as I'm allergic to it. Since having been diagnosed with a fractured L2 and osteoporosis, the RA team and my GP both recommend them. I was taking Solgar Calcium Citrate

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold test results
Hi, I'm fairly new to this site & this is the first time I've posted. I had recurrent non-malignant cysts on my thyroid with no other apparent symptoms in around 2006. Initially the cysts were drained using needle aspiration. (At this time, one of the sonographers who was performing the needle aspiration

Feeling very unwell - do my blood results explain why? What to do next?
Hi Mid August My NDT was increased from 2.5 to 3 grains. By the last week in September I began to feel what I describe as a 'bit off' , these feelings come and go. My partner had covid , I tested negative a couple of times. I did have a bit of cough and sore throat but that lasted only a couple

calcium scoring
Anyone know the meaning of calcium scores? I had a CT angiogram scan yesterday and was told that my calcium score is 0. I havenāt had the official report and the only reason I was told is because they did the scan in 2 parts as my heart rate was higher than required for the scan. I did ask if that

What vitamin supplements to take alongside B12 injections?
Hi all - I'm currently on monthly injections for PA but still feel tired every morning even after a good nights sleep; low energy days; trouble focusing etc - sure you'll all be familiar with the symptoms! I've had several further blood tests and vitamin D and iron deficiencies have been identified
