imodium and buscopan
hey guys just wanted some general advice on taking imodium as well as
buscopan
? Imodium for the diarrhea and then
buscopan
for the cramps? (I am also on Amitriptyline 10mg) would all these together be too much?

Sore and tired - feeling like I need to "go" all the time....
I take fexofenadine for hayfever (which starts in Feb), and so I don't think I can take
Buscopan
with it - but actually
Buscopan
isn't very effective anyway. Just want rid of this constant urge to "go"properly! Totally fed up.

Glaucoma and other medications
My GP has just prescribed
Buscopan
and the leaflet says that I shouldn’t take this if I have glaucoma. This led me to looking at other medications that I take which include antihistamines and occasional cough/cold remedies. It seems these also shouldn’t be taken if you have glaucoma.

IBS and jobs
When my flare ups get bad - they get bad - so I'm stuck in a cycle of 'I can't leave work or they'll fire me but my flare up is so bad, I can't work I'll be stuck in the toilet' I don't have any risk foods, my diet had been low FODMAP since I was diagnosed and I've tried

Pain relief for bowel endo?
The minipill does help a bit, I also take
buscopan
for the pelvic pain and sometimes codeine too, but having a very difficult time with bowel related pain specifically. It's the old 'red hot poker' up the bum sensation. It's driving me up the wall, and nothing seems to help it at all.

Meds to slow motility
I am also wondering if it might be worth experimenting with
Buscopan
as I understand this slows motility as well, and might also help with the only very occasional cramps I experience.

Strange Symptoms - Is this right?
Tried FODMAP for a few weeks, Not eating bread etc and
Buscopan
for relief but nothing helps. I'm posting because it seems like a "reverse" IBS as only triggers after going to the toilet and is a painful soreness below my belly button which extends across.

nausea, churning and fed up
I’ve tried all the usual - fodmap,
Buscopan
, exercise, water. Nothing is working. I’m quite worried about something (more than usual lol) at the moment so not sure whether that’s triggering it. The symptoms are adding to my worry as usual

Have I got IBS?
My GP has prescribed
buscopan
which doesn’t really help along with Omeprazole and pain killers. I’ve had a CT scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy all of which were clear ( CT scan picked up some scarring on my lungs, awaiting further tests regarding pulmonary fibrosis).

Had surgery three weeks ago
I was on Liquid Morphine, Dihydrocodeine slow release , baclofen, naproxen,
buscopan
, cyclizine, lansoprazole, the list goes on about 14 different medications during that wait. I am trying to wind down my pain medication gradually to see what effect the surgery has had.

Pepper Mint Oil Bad Reaction
So I call Sanofi (Company who owns
Buscopan
) and tell them and they say side effects are rare and to contact my GP which I did and they told me to stop taking them immediately.

helpful tip for regular bowel movement
GP have me
Buscopan
and pain relief. Told to use heat pad to relieve episodes (good job I’m retired!) I felt desperate. I Googled like crazy and read that olive oil can help with constipation- helps to retain water in the stools.
