Lack of motivation
So after 40 days after my brain injury i'm back to work light duty only..today is my worst day since after the accident, i'm in a low mood, and since part my job requires me to give life style coaching sessions, I barely feel motivated myself to be able to motivate others. I spent my whole day in bed

Recent head injury
I've had a car accident two weeks ago, suffered a head injury that required stitches only. i cant reca the day of the accident and 3 days after maybe more. I'm suffering now from a post concussion syndrome, my memory is getting better. I just want to talk to people who have suffered the same before

Today I have a pre-op appointment for my lap op (which is next week) what questions should I ask my doctor? Should I request a dye test too?
After years of complaining to my GP of horrific period pains/bleeding/trouble conceiving I went private to a specialist gyna doctor and she referred me to her NHS clinic. Today I have a pre-op appointment. I am at a loss at what to ask. On my list I've got the following, how will will the procedure take

Am I Just Me?
Hello, I haven't been here in a while... I'm under the impression i'm in the right place. My symptoms: - Slow slight feeling of sinking into the floor that lasts a second or two. - I sometimes sit and do nothing. Other times I feel like I'm sitting 10 feet away watching myself... waiting... while

Head Injury
Hi there. I have just joined this sight, so thought I would tell you a little about what happened to me. In January 2014, I was having an eventing lesson at a clinic in South Africa, when my young horse fell over a tiny jump. In the process, he broke my orbit with his hoof, and also my C7, but the

All in my head !!
I constantly get feeling like I'm dizzy and disorientated ... almost like I'm drunk. Everything feels out of focus and almost in dream state . I'm terrified I've got something wrong with me . Surely this can't just be anxiety ???

Second opinion
My hospital EP has been very helpful in supplying information to Professor Richard Schilling as I requested a second opinion from him for my complex Arrhythmia's. I have great confidence in my EP here at home. Given the complexity of my Arrhythmia's and suggested ablations (3 of) plus the long long

Help
Hey, my father has recently sustained a brain injury after sustaining a blow to the head in a violent attack. He was knocked unconscious but came to quite soon after. We've been told that the CT scan showed contusions in the brain. His current GCS score is 13 and this has remained stable for the last

How many dogs does it take to change a light bulb? GOLDEN RETRIEVER: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb? BORDER COLLIE: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code. DACHSHUND

Any ideas on improving attention
My hypoxia injured the right side of my brain more. so it makes sense that my attention & problem solving ability should be effected. I figured out (problem solved), how to improve my problem solving ability. I just take longer figuring out how to come up wt solutions, and can do it a a a lot better

Bladder problems after laproscopy
Hi everyone. I had my laproscopy early Tuesday morning. I was told id be in and out. I had 2 large cysts removed and a small amount of old edometriosis was found which i think shows taking the pill back to back has worked. When I woke up I had a drain fitted through my tummy and a catheter inserted.
