wegovy
hi has anyone used wegovy. As a weight loss drug and found it to have a negative impact on PA ? I have some atrophic gastritis and get pain from time to time and I’m tempted to try the wegovy but don’t want to further irritate my guts or compound problems.

Good news
Hello ladies, My mother was diagnosed with OC stage 4a in December 2019 ( her story is in my bio.) After a debulking surgery, pleural infusion drainage, and chemo, she started taking Olaparib and the disease has been stable since. I just wanted to share the good news with you, as she had a PET scan

TAPUR study
Following up on a genomics report (47 pages ! Plus 54 min consult) and came across this study (phase 2 basket trial) in the US. Essentially when exhausting, or before, standard of care options, allows patients to trial off label approved drugs using genomics to identify specific targetable variations

Newbie and confused. Functional B12 deficiency?
Hi everyone, I am new here but I have been a member of the thyroid forum for many years. I've also just joined the Sjogren's and the lupus groups because some of my symptoms could be attributed to these though I have no diagnoses, and the Changing Faces group for my rhinophyma. I have Hashi's and thyroid

Feeling a bit nervous. What next?
Dear ladies, advice sought Am stage 4a and have had debulking surgery and chemo. Took Niraparib for a year but it stopped working and I had spread to my liver. I finished 6 rounds of chemo late Oct and had bloods and a CT scan. Chemo has shrunk the cancer in my liver so that was good news. My oncologist

Next steps after radiotherapy
Hi, In Oct 2023, My dad's MRI revealed that cancer had spread to few vertebral bones and has reached a rib bone. He got a PET scan and then underwent ~20 days of radiotherapy in Nov 2023. But his doctor has not asked him to do any follow-up tests after the radiotherapy ended. Is this the norm? Should

Correction to recent post: I should have stated that I have been recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I could not see anywhere that I could edit my Post.

SE's on Cabazitaxel/Carboplatin Combo
Fellow chemo warriors: I'm hoping your experiences can shed some light on my latest treatment variation. Long story short: I had 3 docetaxel infusions with zero side effects. Unfortunately, the response was only partial, so last week I started on Cab/Carboplatin combo. This has been a very different

PMR again ?
I stopped pred on 8th October after 4 years and was OK until now. I have developed stiffness and aching in hips down to knees and am wondering whether the PMR has come again due to stress. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 11th October and am currently on Letrozole to (hopefully !) shrink the tumour

this might help
i’ve had scabies for the last month and a half, and I have done as much research as possible. Couldn’t find anything that was working for me today I took petroleum jelly, mixed it with tea tree oil, smothered my body in. It sat around in it for five hours, watching the scabies pour out of my body, wiping

Prostatic Artery Embolization
I’m 67 year old and have been suffering with BPH for years. Don’t want to do TURP or lasers. I’m interested in doing PAE. Has anyone had this procedure done. Does it work. I had a cystoscope and the urologist found a medial lobe at the neck of the bladder. Would PAE work if the blockage is located there
