PSMA/PET SCAN methodology
I'm having PSMA next week and am confused a little about the equipment used. In all my reading about the test, a CT or MRI is used in conjunction with the PSMA Pet, When I looked at my upcoming test on the portal it says PET SKULLBASE TO MIDTHIGH NOPR SUBSEQUENT. That tells me it's a PET Scan and

2nd recurrence
Hi Ladies as you know I have already posted that I have started treatment for a 2nd recurrence of my Stage 2 OC. I was diagnosed in 2021 and had surgery and 6 cycles of successful Chemo. I started to feel unwell around October time with upper right back pain. CT and MRI were clear. CA125 did start

A potential game-changer for CAR T cell therapy: mutations in cancer engineered to beat cancer
CAR T therapy has been successful in some acute blood cancers. Response rates, however, are considerably lower in CLL and solid tumours, with T cell exhaustion and antigen escape being shared issues. A potentially game-changing advance in solid tumour CAR T technology may therefore be relevant to CAR

unfortunately the liver mets have returned to Martins liver. It is 6 months since chemo finished. There are multiple small mets. Martin is still feeling well. No fatigue, loss of appetite or pain. His MO said that this is very bad and gave a prognosis of 12 months. He is starting Martin on carboplatin

Ibrance/Letrozole Fail
Been through the wringer and back over the past month. Scans showed progression. Had bone only mets and now showing inflammation in my lungs. Had more scans and genomic testing for mutations and it turns out I have no mutations that have been studied yet. My oncologist is putting me on Xeloda and says

Hello
Hi everyone, I've been Stage IV mbc since December 2019, on Ibrance / Letrozole but now facing a change. Those drugs (with some off label drugs and naturopathic treatments/supplements) kept me stable for nearly 4 years. Now some update on my left femur, sternum and new tumors in my liver. Curious

Erleada or Xtandi vs Seizure Risk
I have had 3 unobserved and undiagnosed seizures, and want to add an ARI to my Orgovyx. My conservative MO says I do not need an ARI. My aggressive urologist has prescribed Erleada as the best ARI, and is against Xtandi. I am in a quandary over what to do. I am afraid of Erleada because "patients
