Adalat retard instead of Nifedipine ?
I have been on Nifedipine three times a day for about two years for Raynaurds and had no side effects as far as I am aware, unless my lack of appitite or anxiety is one. But my doctor has told me I won't be able to continue with Nifedipine as it is no longer available, I have been given Adalat retard

Week off with knee pain, then WK3 D1 ...... FAIL : (
Well after completing WK2 I had a week off due to some knee pain. I've been power walking fine for weeks before starting C25K, week one was fine too but that advice off Laura on week 2 totally shot my knees with the heel striking :-/ Decided to take a week off as I was hobbling about at work this

Has anyone ever had painful swollen breast and pain in the area around it?
I saw a GP (not my own) last week because I had really acute pain in my right breast. I noticed it was swollen and bigger than usual but not red or inflamed. I asked if it was related to FMS - but this GP said it wasn't a 'real' illness. He said there wasn't a lump and they looked normal to him.

Newbie to the site but old hand at dealing with RA. This is my story...
Hi everybody. I thought I'd introduce myself. I am 48 years old and have had RA since 1973. So, I'm afraid this is rather a long post so forgive me but I hope it will help some of you dealing with RA. Originally diagnosed with Still's, my parents were told there was every likelihood I would

First real injury........Need help ( and sympathy ! )
Following my 9k run yesterday ( thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments....I love this site! )....have woken up with a really tight groin. Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd write! Feels like a "dead leg" ...have taken brufen which has helped a little. Think I did it when stretching

What the .....
I started with a flare up yesterday, which is the first I've had in months. I wasn't too worried as I just take a few more mg of pred and it calms down again, but it didn't happen this time.....??? lasted all day and got worse, and I was at work, which means I couldn't do much as I work with the elderly
