The dangers of indoor air pollution
I just found the following interesting article on the matter. This affects me and my asthma in a rather direct way thus I am so interested, but it is a danger for all of us whether we have asthma or not. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20200909-why-indoor-air-pollution-is-an-overlooked-problem

Clinically vulnerable
Has anyone else noticed that on the gov.uk site for covid vaccines, in the clinically vulnerable group (not extremely) asthma has be upped to severe asthma. This means that other asthmatics are no longer sixth in line for a jab.

Lung restriction and mucus blocking airways
I’m a 42 year old man. I’ve always had mild asthma since I was a teenager, but had got worse now at 42. I’ve smoked cigarettes a bit in the past and smoked cannabis which hadn’t helped my breathing capacity but I’ve been fairly fit at different stages in my life Where I would jog regularly and use gym

How to increase peak flow
Asthma is quite a new diagnosis for me (sept 2020). I was initially using Kehale (4 puffs morning 4 puffs evening), however couldn’t get my peak flow above 300. Asthma nurse then moved me onto fostair 100/6. I have 2 puffs morning, 2 puffs lunch and 2 puffs evening and my peak flow increased to 350 however

Some progress with referral? 🤞
Well, after the gp said that my asthma was still uncontrolled and increased the uniphyllin, I had really horrible side effects and no significant improvement. So the uniphyllin has been reduced and I have been put on steroid tablets ‘for as long as necessary ‘ with the dose to be tapered when the asthma

I also have

and when I'm coughing it's taking a long time for my heart rate to go down Unfortunately the specialist in the PoTs in our area has gone off long term sick so I'm basically not seeing anyone.

Asthma worsening
Hi, I’m on week 3 and I’ve noticed my asthma has got significantly worse, I’m now taking steroids and my blue inhaler on a regular basis. Before I started I rarely used my blue inhaler (once a week, now most days) anyone else notice this? Does it settle down or is something else going on?

Has anyone else been struggling with their asthma recently?
For the last couple of days my asthma has been really bad ( tight chest, wheeze occasionally cough) and I am wondering if anyone else is struggling to see if it is weather related or allergy related as my eczema is also coming back and I’m suffering with sinus problems too. Oh the joys of having multiple

Is this caused by asthma?
Hi, I have asthma which is mild, mainly exercise induced wheezing. I have started having this new issue in recent weeks which I'm not sure is related or not. I feel like phlegm in the top of my chest/bottom of windpipe, that I can't shift by coughing, but it is uncomfortable. It lasts for a day or so

Allergy and asthma?
Hi everyone, I'm very new to this and haven't been diagnosed as asthmatic yet - although reliever and preventer inhaler do seem to be improving my symptoms (cough, wheezing, tight chest, difficulty taking deep breaths). I have also had what I've assumed to be an allergy for about 10 years now, which
