Recent liver progression after stable bone mets. Researching treatments and reaching out. X
Hi beautiful people, I've recently had progression to my liver after being stable on tamoxifen and xgeva. My tumours were in my spine, ribs and femurs originally. My spinal ones are currently dormant after radiotherapy and tamoxifen. I the had my primary breast tumour removed and we found it had mutated

BCS or Mastectomy
My wife is under going Chemo for her breast cancer and surgery is to follow after Chemo 4AC + 12 Taxol, Herceptin . Oncologist is asking us whether we want breast conservative surgery or Mastectomy. They need to fix some metallic marker in case of BCS. I invite suggestions or pros and cons of both!

MBC acquired during pregnancy
MBC patient under Ibrance and Letrozole. Is it possible to take a break from both Ibrance and letrozole for 2wks? I feel joint pains and tiredness all the time so I am wondering if taking a longer break would help. Please comment your experiences and your suggestions are highly appreciated.

IV Vitamin C Therapy?
Hi friends! Wondering if anyone has supplemented their cancer care with IV VItamin C therapy. I work with an ND oncologist along with my regular one and she suggested it. If you have used or are using it, how often and at what dosage? Did you have any side effects? I'll let you know if I start.

Anastrozole and Turmeric with Pepper
I'm trying to establish if it's OK to take Turmeric/Pepper as I've been diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis and don't wish to take medication suggested by by rheumatologist - sulfasalazine. I had a mastectomy 3 years ago and currently taking Anastrozole.

Perjeta and Herceptin
Is there anyone on here that is Her2 positive? My breast tumors are er + and her2.- but the Mets in my lungs are the exact opposite. I’ll be starting chemo Tuesday with taxotere, perjeta, and herceptin. Anybody else experienced this? Also I have a whole unsealed bottle of 125 mg ibrance. Any ideas

Low WBC on Faslodex?
Hi Friends! I had my first Faslodex shots 2 weeks ago. No immediate side effects (just slightly sore butt) but my WBC dropped from 4.4 to 3.5.....the very bottom of "normal". Wondering if others have this side effect and if your count kept dropping with successive shots. I'm due to get round #2 shots

Surgery done
Today I had my lumpectomy with reduction . Lymph nodes were clear and I feel not too bad at all! Such a strange mix of emotions but each treatment is a step nearer to hopefully beating this. Had a look at the scars and was not horrified as I expected , my breast looks decidedly perkier where they have

Pregnancy and the heart
I’ve written previously about pre-eclampsia’s link to heart problems later in life. I had pre-eclampsia with both my pregnancies requiring bed rest in hospital for weeks and early deliveries. After my first child was born my blood pressure was so high my doctor said that it was too dangerous to move
