Hair loss
Hi all I am on month seven of Ibrance Faslodex and Xgeva. Starting to lose my hair. I first noticed it was thinning and now see pieces of hair all over. Any ideas or information about this. I’m going to buy a snood today. Does it eventually come back. ? Gwennie

So thankful to God
I had a PET Scan yesterday and was so worried before I got the results. I had convinced myself that things were worse because I have been experiencing so much pain in my left hip, leg and ribs. My sweet doctor called me this afternoon and told me there was NO change from my Scan 2 months ago. I cried

verapamil
I was on ramipril and bisopolol for high blood pressure and fast heart beat, had to stop bisopolol because of side effects. GP prescribed verapamil instead which is ACE antagonist (not beta blocker) Bit wary of taking this with ramipril. Any one else on this combination?

Thyroid biopsy
Who knew a simple thyroid biopsy; done by a radiologist and a nurse could be so miserable the day after....can’t hardly move my neck...swallowing is painful and I’m swollen like a deer tick. I didn’t realize how much poking and digging they have to do to get the cells, blood and tissue they need. Fingers

Faslodex
Hi ladies I so appreciate the wonderful information and encouragement from this site I have a new question :for those of you who are using faslodex wondering how long it took for it to work -I have been on it for 4 months with some progression I’d read some place that it can take longer for it to start

Learned LDL Cholesterol is Elevated to 151 (USA) or 1.7 in Europe & Prescribed Statin Drug Crestor 5mg!
First of all, I have not picked up my overall blood work papers from the doctor yet (will tomorrow), but was surprised she called me in a statin prescription before I saw the paperwork. I've been on depression meds for 2 decades and just am changing from Pristiq to Trintelix, so if I decide to take

A Good Day
Today I start my 30th month of Ibrance and letrozole. I had a Ct scan yesterday and I am still stable. I went from many lung nodes to one tiny node in one lung. Today is a good day. I wish my knees and hips were in the mood to celebrate.

Ibrance honeymoon over
It's been a good run, but after 18 months on Ibrance and Faslodex, indicators are telling my oncologist it's time for a change in meds. He put me on Xeloda, which I start in 2 weeks. Of course, I'm scared of the side effects and how this new drug will react in my body. Anyone have experience with

Scan
I just had my CT scan. I'm really nervous as the last two scans have resulted in having to change medicine. I'm on Xeloda now and praying it's working! Prayers are much appreciated as I wait for the results! Colleen

Mammograms
My oncologist doesn’t feel mammograms are necessary since I’m being treated for MBC. I’ve had a partial mastectomy of my right breast, chemo and radiation in 2005. It metastasized to both lungs in 2016. I had massive chemo again. Now I’m on Letrozole and Ibrance and everything is stable. But I wanted

How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular carcinoma in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999). I went through a lumpectomy followed by mastectomy, 6 months of chemo,

A bit of a set back
I've had a bit of a set back today. I saw my oncologist 3 weeks ago to discuss my scan results. Just before my appointment I'd had an appointment come through from my former hospital for my annual mammogram. As I'm having scans every 3 months I wasn't sure if I still needed the mammogram. The oncologist
