Hi all

I am on month seven of Ibrance Faslodex and Xgeva. Starting to lose my hair. I first noticed it was thinning and now see pieces of hair all over. Any ideas or information about this. I’m going to buy a snood today.

Does it eventually come back. ?

Before this cancer mess my hair was long and thick. Now my hair is long and thinning terribly too! My onc said to try biotin or Rogaine.

Just be aware that biotin can interfere with tumour markers...make them go up or down..happened to mine...I was told to stop taking it

Have had hair extensions...bit more expensive than biotin though!!!

This is why it's so confusing looking at natural supplements!

Never know what will interfer with what! Geez

It drives me mad....I’ve been reading that book someone recommended and it says to take glucosamine and chondroitin but then someone on here said not to take chondroitin

Then that book recommended curcumin then someone says it mimics oestrogen

Me too! It's making me crazy and angry that there just isn't a set, safe and agreed upon list of supplements for women in our situation.

I really need to take a break from researching these things! Lol

Yes or you get obsessed...let’s face it...we are metastatic and doing something like having a tofu meal or getting drunk one night won’t make a difference to the outcome...I’m feeling rebellious

I've been on Ibrance,Letrozole and Xgeva for 14 months.

My hair has been thinning ever since I started Ibrance.

I decided to get a Short Bob haircut. My hair stopped thinning immediately.

And I still color my own hair.

I just have to ask - what is a snood?? The salon that I go to for my hair has these things called halo's. It's like a halo of hair. Not sure how expensive they are but you might look into it.

A snood is a hat Kind of like a watch Cap with style. You can Google a company called

and you will see Snoods.

I, too, lost a lot of hair - I've finally broken down and ordered a hairpiece. I lost hair for the first 7-8 months on same drugs you're taking. Not in clumps, just extreme thinning. The thinning has stopped completely; I just hope some of it will grow back. Don't feel very confident about that, but hope springs eternal!
