Big Lump from last Faslodex Shot?
Has anyone experienced a golf ball size painful lump from your Faslodex shots? I’ve been on the monthly shots for the past year and the one a few weeks ago resulted in a painful deep lump on my left side. I try massaging it but it hurts a lot. Please let me know if you’ve experienced this and what

Cancer May stabilize on ibrance after some progression?
After going to the genomics clinic and talking about the clinical trial that is supposed to start this summer, I met with my oncologist. She said she wants to wait until after my next scan in a couple of months to see if maybe the cancer has stabilized since my last scan. After being on ibrance and

Seeking wisdom from those of you that have "been there done that"
Greetings! I hope you are all well (as can be expected) and safe! As I am nearing the end of my chemo treatments - 3 more to go! And will be needing surgery in the near(ish) future, how does one decide which surgery is best? I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer back in October. I had

Afinitor (everolimus) with Faslodex (fulvestrant) combo
Hi everyone, I will be starting the Everolimus and Faslodex combo this week after Arimidex combo with Ibrance stopped working after 20 months. I’ve seen a lot of posts mentioning the Everolimus in combo with Exemestane but not Everolimus in combo with Faslodex. Has anyone taken this combo and if

Itchy forehead
I’m just curious if anyone has had any reaction like this because of the medication. My forehead has been broken out for quite a few months, and it’s also on both sides of my nose. It was coming and going, but now it’s getting really bad and itches like crazy. I’m on Ibrance and Letrozole. I have no

Letrozole
Evening everyone, hope you are all coping in this awful scary time. Just a quick question, after 12 rounds of chemo and a fluctuating CA124 between 30-49, and due to my white cells not behaving, my oncologist has decided it’s not worth the risk of more chemo with COVID-19 being around while I’m struggling

Letrozole causing lung problems?
Letrozole and lung inflamation. Has anyone had problems. I'm on letrozole for high grade serous ovarian cancer. The drug is really working, I started in september but by january I've been having lung congestion, pain, phlegm, and the doctors cannot figure it out. Could it be the letrozole.

Bone Mets Pan
After my spinal surgery/fusion healed I had not had chronic pain despite mets all over my body. Even after I fell and cracked my femur! Had rads for that but now have chronic pain. Sometimes in sides, left arm, upper back (I also had some rads to upper spine). I may have to take Tramadol...the Tylenol

Unilateral Mastectomy Regret
I had a unilateral mastectomy and I regret it everyday. My doctors encouraged me to not remove both because it wasn’t necessary and just because Angela Jolie did it, everyone had started doing it and it didn’t improve “quality of life”. I listened to them. I had no idea how disproportionate I would look

Tamoxifen
Hi , hoping everyone is managing to keep as well as they can amid this turmoil. My sympathy to those who have had treatment or ops delayed because of it- it’s a worrying time but thank goodness for this wonderful forum where we can find support and advice. Just in case anyone is in a similar position

CA 15-3
Hi ladies, my wife has MBC for 10 months now. She is on Ibrance 125mg, Faslodex and Xgeva. She has extensive bone mets, but PET-CTs are showing important reduction on SUV levels (From 16 to 3.5, for example). My question here is about CA 15-3 levels. She started with 352 and gradually reduced to 86.

Update on my sister
Many thanks to all of you who responded last time I posted a few days ago. My sister has had the results of her biopsy back and her cancer is progesterone and oestrogen positive and her2 negative. Could someone let me know what that means in terms of her treatment going forward. Last time she had BC

Post lumpectomy and radiation breast infection
Has anybody developed inflammation and tenderness emanating from their lumpectomy scar? I finished radiation treatment 4 months ago and wasn’t expecting it.

Does Tamoxifen suppress l immunity?
I read conflicting reports that ibuprofen and other anti inflammatory drugs like aspirin may suppress immunity in Corona patients. I don’t know if it’s true but it made me thinking - What about Tamoxifen? Does anyone have any information on whether it suppresses Immunity ?

Tamoxifen side effects after treatment completed
Hi- I have been taking tamoxifen -Nolvadex brand for 3 months- despite my post menopausal status- age-66- my oncologist thought it would be best to use Tamoxifen not an aromatase inhibitor- different side effects which would cause joint pain and as I have arthritis- thought I would tolerate tamoxifen
