Has anyone everyone gone through Oncoplastic surgery?
I've just completed my 6 sessions of chemo, and the MRI and scans show no tumors, or if there are any none are visible. I am still being told I will need surgery to remove any/all residual tissue that was the tumor. I was given 3 options: 1) lumpectomy 2) oncoplastic surgery 3) mastectomy. I would

update on changed cancer
Lots of water under the bridge since I last posted. Had left breast removed because of wound that would not heal. Tissue sent for testing and came back Progesterone positive changed from estrogen positive. My young oncologist did not know how to treat this. Decided to wait until new scans. No meds

Hi, I’m new here. 10 years and 8 Months in remission and out the blue a recurrence. I’m loving this group. Thank you.
Pleura and Lung Mets. I’m currently on Ibrance and fulvestrant. Over all it’s not that bad. I’m about to start my 4th cycle. During the 3rd cycle I started having headaches, blurred vision and numbness. (I had some numbness from chemo 10 years ago) It’s freaked me out. I soon found that all this is

Hi there, Here is Bev from the Lung Foundation, now I am here with a new cancer, grade 2 tumour, right breast. I wanted to ask how the treatment is with letrozole, I know it can have side effects, but is it better than radiation? It's 13mm. Anyway, I hope you're all feeling ok as can be expected. I send

Type 2 Diabetes potential home remedy cure
Type 2 diabetes (also called diabetes mellitus) results from the perfect storm of not enough movement, too much of the wrong foods, emotional stress, lack of sleep, toxins, and genetics. Possible Side Effect of Post Cancer Med
I've had bilateral breast cancer. Left side 2002 with chemo and radiation followed up by 5 years of Letrozol. Right side 2013 with only radiation followed up by 5 years of Exemestane (Aromasin). Both tumors were estrogen positive. Now they have put me on Tamoxifen for another 5 years. I'm just wondering

Back to my oncologist this afternoon to hear the result of my scan - anyone on weekly taxol?
Just got home yesterday from doing my scan in time for my oncologist to call telling me he was going to bring forward my scan to which I informed him I had just had it. Well apart from the disorganization, he wanted to know if I had heard from London - to which I had to reply no (will be calling them

CT vs Breast cancer risk
I need to have another CT and am worried about radiation exposure to my breasts. My mom had breast cancer at 85 and lived cancer-free to the ripe age of 96 cancer-free. However, she didn't have another cancer.
