Letrozole and lung inflamation. Has anyone had problems. I'm on letrozole for high grade serous ovarian cancer. The drug is really working, I started in september but by january I've been having lung congestion, pain, phlegm, and the doctors cannot figure it out. Could it be the letrozole.

I've just started Letrozole so would be interested to read replies on this but I've not heard of lung problems being a side effect. I did have these problems with Avastin though. X

I’m on a different drug and have mild symptoms of drug induced pneumonitis. Was put on steroids much to my annoyance. Could you have an infection? I have had intermittant breathing problems since frontline chemo .

I was on Letrozole for abt. 15/18months until it stopped working. I didn't have any lung issues at all at this time - just arthralgia which is listed on the side effect page inside the Letrozole carton. Best wishes to you. I hope your lung problem is resolved quickly. Gwen x
