Disappointing CT Scan Results
Hi Ladies After 10 days of anxiously waiting, I got my scan results yesterday. On a positive note, my bones are still stable & my lymph node under my arm has shrunk slightly. Unfortunately, my lungs & liver are showing significant progression. It’s so disappointing after going through so much chemo,

Pamidronate
Has anyone else been receiving pamidronate instead of Zometa? Shortly after receiving my first treatments my bones just ache. Then it seemed to subside. I had to miss a couple of treatments due to covid, after my first treatment I was sore again. I have numerous bone Mets from the top of my head down

Question regarding CBD+ being used with faslodex to fight breast cancer.
Hi my Mom was diagnosed in 2019 with breast cancer and also found out that it spread to the bone. My Mom was put on Faslodex and was doing really well, then her oncologist said He wanted to introduce another pill that would help the first one. Long story short it is now 2022 and the medicine has started

Stable scan results 3 years in
I realize it is important to share positive news so that we don’t only read discouraging news. In that spirit, my December bone and Ct scans were stable. My tumor markers trickle up but my onc focuses on scan results. Like most of us, I deal with “scanxiety.” Phew! I’ve been on Ibrance & Letrozole

Clinical Trial Ipatasertib phase lll
Well after 7 cycles ibrance/letrozole combo isn't working. My onocologyst is moving me to fulvestrant. She would like me to start a clinical trial fulvestrant with this new drug ipatasertib. The trick is it's a double blind, Dr or yourself will not know if you are getting ipatasertib or placebo (I call

What Next?
I have been on this forum for a few years now, and have seen that treatment usually follows the same procedure. I have had Carbo/Taxol with Avastin, Carbo/Caelyx, Rucaparib and am now ready for the next goody bag. Single Taxol has been suggested, but I have heard that this is not very successful. Does

New liver lesions
Forgive me if this appears twice. I think the first post was eaten Scan Tuesday. Oncologist called a few minutes ago. 2 new lesions since starting fulvestrant in mid Nov. Existing 3 stable. No involvement anywhere else. He suggested moving to chemo. I requested a rescan in six weeks and to evaluate

To long term survivors
Long term survivors, Please post your stories, suggestions and share treatments you have been on. I am having a huge anxiety after Bayer dismissed ErSO compound. I hoped that it would be a cure for all of us. I am so discouraged and need strength. I have been diagnosed in 2019 after 9 years of my initial

What Medicare Supplement Plan & Rx Plan Covers the Most Costs for MBC Patients?
I need to make the decision to pick a Medicare Supplement Plan & Rx Plan (Plan D) as I lose my private health coverage by May 1st. I’m on IBrance , Faslodex & Xgeva. Based in Florida. I have contacted all the cancer centers to find out which insurance plans covers the high costs for MBC patients.

Kidney Biopsy
So in I went to hospital yesterday a complete wreck. I was terrified. My husband wasn't allowed to stay with me and had to leave.I was prepped, signed all the documents and lay down on the bed. The nephrologist couldn't find my kidney because it was buried so deep so there was a lot of probing. I had

New here - glad to discover this site! Thank you so much for these topics/threads. I have recently been dx w/ mBC after being in remission for almost 5 years. (now in Liver & bones as my arimidex stopped working) My head is spinning and trying to get info on Kisquali vs. Ibrance combo w/ Faslodex.

Starting running after covid pneumonia
Around 2 years ago, I completed couch to 5k and became quite a good runner, cyclist and did plenty of hiking. I'm 50 years old. However, in September 2021 my world was turned upside down when I caught covid and it landed me in hospital, seriously ill. It developed into pneumonia, and respiratory failure

Hope for survival
I have had metastatic breast cancer for 10 years. I have exhausted all treatments except one available to me, my last and final treatment is Tradeivy. It is for triple negative cancer although I have switched to estrogen positive. However there are no estrogen positive treatments left for me to try
