I realize it is important to share positive news so that we don’t only read discouraging news.
In that spirit, my December bone and Ct scans were stable. My tumor markers trickle up but my onc focuses on scan results. Like most of us, I deal with “scanxiety.”
Phew!
I’ve been on Ibrance & Letrozole since 8/18 after bone MBC diagnosis. Two prior breast cancer occurrences in 2004 and 2018.
Thank you for all your support during this roller coaster ride.
I want to especially acknowledge our “angels/spirit warriors” Barb, Nan & Josie. They were among the first strong voices of experience & compassion that I found here after I was diagnosed with MBC. Finding this board was a Godsend. You and your families remain in our hearts and prayers.
So wonderful. Congratulations. And I agree, that good news is so very important. So. In the spirit of you... Me too. Stable. Since May 2018. So lucky. So thankful. Long may it last. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!!!!!! You are absolutely correct all news needs to be heard !! So happy for you!!! I love the fact you included those we have lost we just have to add Ruth to the list now.
Congratulations to you for your stable scan. I am blessed to have 5 years of NEAD on letrozole and Ibrance. It is my first line of therapy. I was diagnosed in October 2016 with de novo Mets to liver. I pray that gives some of you wonderful sisters hope for a long ride on a CDK46 inhibitor plus an AI. I pray for all of us every day and for the scientists and doctors that are working hard to extend our lives. Happy New Year to all! You are in my thoughts. Kate from Alabama
Good luck on Monday. I have my MRI on Monday too. It will be 3 years for me since diagnosis of MBC in liver. I have been stable and hoping to continue.
Chemo went very smoothly today 👍 I’ve completed 4 visits to the hospital this week. It seemed so much calmer on the chemo suite on a Saturday … having a relaxing evening in with Steve & Teddy is on my lap 🐶❤️
So happy for your stable news! Congrats and please take a moment to really celebrate!
Wonderful to hear your 3 year stable results. It gives us all hope and encouragement to hear good news.As you know, Josie was my bestie and I think of her every day. Her, Nancy and Babs were strong woman with big voices in this group and are missed dearly. Thanks for mentioning them. June and Ruth who we also lost last year are missed, especially their soh.
They will all be helping us continue this journey.
What wonderful news to start the year. Congratulations on your stable scan results. And yes, it is good to remember all the wonderful members we lost to MBC in 2021. I hope 2022 will be kinder to us all. 💕
