Rising T Bili on Xeloda
Hi ladies!! my mom has been on xeloda and her T bili continues to go up last few weeks. Her last scans showed shrinking lesions on liver. Her Tumor Markers went up 28 points this month. Her scan is bumped up to next week . She s checking for blockage that would require a stent in the liver I guess

Taking Meds in the AM vs PM
Hi I’m newly on Kisqali and Letrozole and I am wondering if anyone has feedback about whether it seems better to take these during the day or at night before bed. I’ve heard that some people prefer a nighttime dosage to sleep through any nausea or fatigue Interested in any and all experiences Thanks

Residual pain post lumpectomy and radiation
Hello, I had a lumpectomy in April and a course of radiation in June. It is now mid August and I still get shooting pains and occasional soreness in the affected breast. It's not terrible, but worrisome. I am wondering if this is normal.

I had
breast
cancer
4.5 years ago (lumpectomy and radiotherapy only - very lucky) and have been on tamoxifen since then. Due to finish tamoxifen in July 2024. Apparently the taking of this drug increased my chances of endometrial cancer … and that’s what I had. Stage 1B.

Fibroscan shows severe damage.
I have a history of
breast
cancer
4 years ago and am not a drinker. I am overweight. I had an ultrasound in January which showed fatty liver. This kick started personal training and weight loss. Finally had a Fibroscan on 8th September where I was told my fibrosis is 13.9 and cap score over 300.

PGT-M for BRCA1
My sister in law has
breast
cancer
and has tested positive for BRCA1 (caught early and doing well thankfully). My husband is awaiting a genetic test so we don't know yet if he has the mutation.

Medication Clomipramine
Hello all. I went to see a psychiatrist today who suggested I take Clomipramine antidepressant as I am very depressed and sometimes suicidal. Has anybody else taken this. It says it interferes with levothyroxine. Thank you.

How big are AA tablets
Meds involving oestrogen are also out because I had
breast
cancer
4 years ago. My T scores are -3.3 lumbar, -4.5 neck of femur and -5.1 hip, caused mostly by a spinal cord injury 45 years ago (hence why lowest in my body has the worst score) but also sarcoidosis and post-cancer drugs.

Good morning Ladies, Does anyone have any information on pleural fluid in the lung? I’m currently on first line of RX for MBC in lung with faslodex. Scans are showing small pleural fluid and nodules, etc. I’m so scared! Any thoughts? Thanks, Susie

Bayer announces positive topline results for NUBEQA® (darolutamide) from Phase III trial in men with mHSPC - July 17, 2024
Effects of NUBEQA on Other Drugs – NUBEQA inhibits

resistance protein (BCRP) transporter. Concomitant use increases exposure (AUC) and maximal concentration of BCRP substrates, which may increase the risk of BCRP substrate-related toxicities. Avoid concomitant use where possible.

I was diagnosed with Behcets in 2018 followed by
breast
cancer
in 2022. (Interesting to note inflammation in biopsy even for that). It was all fairly well controlled but I was not thriving as such and Nov 23 showed a new symptom - eye inflammation.

Sub-clinical Hyperthyroidism
After that, every 6 month blood test showed TSH and T4 in normal range until early 2021 when I had to start taking Anastrozole after surgery for oestrogen receptive
breast
cancer
. I soon became hyper again and carbimazole was increased by GP to 10mg every day.

xeloda
I take 3000 a day and I weigh 135 lbs. My regime is 7 days on and 7 days off. However I started with 3500 and that really affected my hands and they lowered my dosage. I am still having challenges with my hands but it’s not bad. They get extremely dry and crack, so I try to keep them moisturized

Advice? Anyone taking Herceptin Perjeta and Faslodex? And bye Ibrance
Hi everyone. My onc switched me off ibrance and Exemastane bc initial breast tumor is growing and has become resistant to these meds. I knew like all of us here that first line of treatment would end sometime (almost 4 years) but I’m really nervous about this new normal I’m entering into with 3 week
