Advanced Parkinsons treatment
I have had pd for at at least twenty years. After dx I had been put on Cabaser by a neurologist who then retired and my gp informed me that there were insufficient funds to replace him. He would just keep prescribing this med. and I would just continue without a Neuro. Cabaser turned out to be particularly

First Day Completed
On the way home now . First day wasn't to bad . They didn't ask for my bank details or my DBS . I asked the teachers classroom who I'm in and she said they will probably do it Monday . I hope so . I learn how to do resuscitation . I was bit worried because I haven't got a lot of strength in my hands

Work
After being messed around with my apprenticeship . I start tomorrow . It's only an inset day so no children until Monday . Hopefully they will give me the details of when I get paid what my hours will be and so on . This school is one of the most unorganised ever . They told me to email though the holidays

Benign brain tumour
Hi, I`m so pleased I found you all here. I had an epidermoid cyst removed from my brain stem 10 years ago. Thankfully it was successful and so far no re-growth. However since that time I`ve taken a sleeping pill ...a benzodiazepine. I stopped the benzo a few months ago but have had severe back pain

Feeling pretty Yukky and shingles again!!
Morning all, had my second chemo of Caelyx and carbo on Tuesday and I can't believe how yuk I feel on it, headaches, nausea and shingles again, have been informed that I will probably get them each time. I've had the nausea meds increased and that has helped but I really didn't expect to feel this rubbish

QUICK ANYONE, My hypochondria is taking over :( PLEASE
Ok I know I'm obsessed with the disease cancer, I guess it's typical for a hypochondriac I don't know.. But the thought of having cancer won't leave my head!! A week ago I thought hair dye would cause cancer and kill me, and now I think being on your phone, talking, phone to ear, is what will kill

Brain Tumor
Hi My daughter aged 6 years complained severe headache. As part of the treatment we went with CT, MRI. Doctor said he saw there was a blockage between 3rd and 4th ventricle and did Endoscopic surgery and later sent the lesion for biopsy. Biopsy report came as Oligodendroglioma Gr-2. At the time

CT scan
Hi All, as some of you may know 4 weeks ago I had a head trauma and the doctors did CT scan to the head and spine but now am worried about the levels of radiation I have been exposed to as this may increase the chances of me getting brain tumor. I am 28 yo, male and this is the only CT I ever had in

Brain Tumors + Thyroids...
I actually have a couple of queries... So when I was 8 I started getting what I thought were just a couple of head rushes. But then even when I slowed down it would give me a short headache. Years later, I still get them. But now I groan and squeal because they hurt more. I also get dizzy spells, first

New treatment strategy could cut Parkinson's disease off at the pass
Abnormal clumps of α-synuclein protein are often found in autopsies of people with Parkinson's disease and are thought to cause the
death
of dopamine-producing
brain
cells.
