Flattened stools?
Hi I'm 19 y/o and scared to death. I had normal shaped bulky stools until about two days ago I got diarrhea. Now I'm constipated and the first solid BM since my diarrhea, I got flat stools which appeared to have 3/4 of it flattened and 1/4 rounded to the end. I'm freaking out. Could this be colon cancer

Vitamin A debate 😊
Hi everyone Looking in my local pharmacy, I didn't see vitamin A. I'm wondering how many of you are taking it. Also how much are you taking? Do you have to order it? I Know your not supposed to take over 10,000 safety. I was thinking cod liver oil. Anyone use that? Do you feel it's helping you

Menstruation or Blood In Stool?
I'm 19 and pretty healthy. Yesterday I woke up and got my period. When I had my BM in the afternoon, I was shocked to see a little tiny tiny (only visible if you look really closely) streak of red on the surface of the tip of the stool which I'm not even sure if it's blood but it looked like it was painted

Feeling lost
I'm so sick of feeling sick and scared about my health. Everyday its something and I know this isn't caused by anxiety, but I wish it was. I'm so young and have so much to accomplish and achieve before I die. I feel like I have colon cancer and its spreading. I have constipation, blood in my stool, random

Can you get better from COPD
I was diagnosed with COPD 8 years ago. The doctor said it was mild at that time. I immediately gave up smoking, but have been on nicotine chewing gum ever since., now find it impossible to stop. My question is can your lungs get better or do they deteriorate over years. The Dr said I have 80 percent

I have starting this blog post so many times over the last couple of months but have never really known how to write what I really wanted to say. In truth I have shied away from sharing my thoughts, as my battle with chemotherapy was so much harder than I imagined. For someone who is used to sharing

Vigorous physical activity may lower risk of NHL
CLL/SLL is classified as one of the many Non Hodgkin's Lymphomas (NHL), so I was interested to read that people that engage in vigorous physical activity may have a lower risk of developing NHL: http://www.hematologytimes.com/p_article.do?id=5072 [i]“We know that being physically active reduces the risk

Flaxseed & IBS
Hi, I think looking back I suffered with undiagnosed IBS as a teenager but grew out of it if that's possible. After a horrible attack back in November and having a scan (I was convinced it was an ovarian cyst) was diagnosed with IBS! I was advised to take Flaxseed every day, but have just read on another

My Dad has Bowel Cancer what can we expect?
Hello, my Dad has Bowel Cancer. He does not like to talk about with us so I am a little unsure of its progression. He was told October 2013 it was terminal and he had 12-18 months to live. Would this mean he has stage 4? He has never had any chemo or radiation. He did have an operation at the beginning
