Blood from bottom
Hi all, I have my first lap in a week, to diagnose and treat endo. Had pain in lower left pelvic area and back for five years on and off and also bowel problems. I’ve been losing blood from back passage, bright red, does anyone else suffer this?

Fasting for colon cancer, colonoscopy and polypectomy
The benefits of fasting for some types of cancer are well established, See: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324169.php ...but how effective is fasting for colon cancer? I fast 68 hours every month, so, when I was told I had to eat no fibre before my colonoscopy, I told the medic I would fast

New Chemo Regime
Hi everyone. I have seen a lot of stuff in the media about Olaparib in the last couple of days, but nothing further about an article that I read in The Daily Mail online 25/7/19. It involves an intensive regime of Cisplatin and Etoposide, given on a weekly basis with strong anti nausea drugs. There

Colon Cancer Warning
Hi everyone. I wanted to give a quick reminder on the importance of getting your scheduled check ups and colonoscopies after your bowel diseases go into remission. My 65 year old father had a deadly bout with ulcerative colitis 30 years ago. He beat it and has been the picture of health for the most

Colofac versus Buscopan
I found Buscopan really helped my IBS (wind on left hand side and pain plus general feeling ill) but the GP said it had been associated with dementia so I stopped. I’m thinking of trying Colofac as peppermint capsules don’t seem to help. Anyone found Colofac helpful?

Apixaban and Piles plus a few other things
We tried
bowel
irrigation
over two years but that ultimately failed so in December I had a Colostomy which is the only success story to date. Immediately after the colostomy I became aware of pain in the rectal area down to piles (internal and external (big ones).

Cholestagel stock problems
Hi I believe I suffer from Bile Acid Malabsorption. For 8 years I’ve suffered from constant diarrhoea as many as 6 times a day, unable to eat out unless a toilet was at hand. Always told by my GP that I had IBS. After seeing tabloid article about BAM I asked my GP if I could try Questran. He refused

Hypothyroid - Urged Tamoxifen or Evista to prevent breast cancer
Hi all: I have been struggling to get my hypothyroid symptoms under control and making progress. I managed to lose 30 pounds over the past two years and hit a plateau. In December I managed to convince my Primary Care Provider (PCP) to prescribe Cytomel (U.S. name for T3) , and we were in the process

We eat what we are – let’s detoxify the word ‘chemical’
The only thing chemical free is a perfect vacuum. [i]"Food is a bunch of chemicals, nothing more, nothing less. When we eat, we eat chemicals. Some are simple, such as water or salt. Some are complex, such as the proteins in steak. But they’re all chemicals. There is no part of food that is not chemical

UK Supply of Linaclotide / Constella
Hi, I'm really struggling to get my Script filled in the UK due to shortages. I'm living the the north of england. My GP doesn't know an alternative and isn't clued up on the drug at all. I have IBS-C, fiber products make it worse. And I can eat max doses of laxative without movement. If I stop using

Shocking news
Greetings to all of you on this site. I'm new here and I've joined because my partner has just been diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer and I want to support him by finding out as much as I can. The cruel irony is that he went to his GP six months ago with bloody stools, was sent for a blood test only
