Thanks, everyone, for your welcome and insights
Neck began to stiffen around Feb 1 and
botox
shot (which he had with good results, same place, 2 years ago) was intended to help, but it relaxed all of the muscles and that is when his head dropped and now it just won't go back up.

Has anyone ever had
botox
injections for pudendal nerve pain and gotten relief. This is something that I haven't tried.

Hormonal migraines anyone beaten these?
I take feverfew, b2 and magnesium and am currently on my 2nd round of
Botox
which has helped with the rebound migraines so has reduced them a bit. Has anyone tried hormonal methods or anything else to get rid of them? I am 39 so have a long time till menopause, fingers crossed they will stop then.

Pain Sucks!!
I am currently doing
Botox
every 3 months & taking at least 3 other meds for the migraines. I have been through a lot of surgeries which dealt me pain & chronic pain meds. In 2004 - right shoulder surgery. In 2005 - right elbow surgery. On April 13th 2006 - appendix taken out surgery.

R/A in neck???
I have a lot of problems and pain in my neck, I receive
Botox
for my dystonia but my dystonia nurse says it is made worse by the RA attacking my neck, when I asked the RA nurse she said " you can't get RA in your neck" this really confused me. Is this true??

Positive thoughts post severe viral meningitis
Physio in my neck and spine was key to recovery from the migraine and
Botox
. So I hope this post helps those of you who are suffering from VM. I could hardly move for 12 months and now I have climbed 2 of Britain’s highest mountains.

Recently Diagnosed
I started
Botox
injections last week but haven't had any relief yet, I need to be patient I suppose! Just wondering if anyone finds exercise helps? I used to exercise a lot (running and gym) but am finding it too painful at the moment and my neck seems more spasmodic afterwards.

4 years post viral meningitis and still suffering horrible after effects.
He put me on steroids, then
Botox
, topamax, gabapentin, a whole bunch of different “migraine” medications, nerve blocks and nothing worked. After 2 years he just gave up and I was left to find another doctor.

Here it is guys. I got my second amniotic graph shot plus a lot more done ready for this. I wasn’t expecting this.
She performed the amniotic graph injections to both sides of my Pudendal nerve,
Botox
injections, bladder installation for my interstitial cystitis and she took 3 biopsies of my bladder for my bladder was very ugly and very bad as she said.

Dystonia & eye twitch
Can I also mention I suffer with trigeminal neuralgia and currently take amitriptyline and gabapentin for this, I don't take anything for the dystonia as again the doctor said
Botox
would only really work to stop these tremors. Thank you for taking the time to read my long boring status.

Waste of time neurologist visit! Ugh...
Have me a script for some meds to try and said if they fail...next step was
Botox
injections into the muscles. For me that was an immediate ‘oh hell no!’ thought.

Stricture/dilatation
I have read a few posts mentioning
Botox
. Desperate for a solution as i’ve no idea how such a stricture would suddenly not be there at the dilatation procedure! Thanks as always!

I suffer terrible migraines and considering
botox

Botox

I’m very familiar with neck pain as I’m a chronic migraine sufferer too... that’s been somewhat under control with the
Botox
injection treatment I’m getting for it so I CAN’T go back to having neck pain again 😞 living with chronic pain is just not an option anymore!
