So worried
Hello all As you may know I had an ablation 3 months ago for uncontrolled fast AF which had caused severe HF and valve leakage. Prior to ablation could hardly do anything apart from rest. Since ablation thought I was doing well. Much more energy able to do daily walking, nausea gone appetite back .

Today's Lunch: 8-21-2021
For lunch today, I had
4 turkey slices, mustard, pickled beets and a red apple with a glass of water
. It's been a while since I had this for a Saturday lunch, so thought it was a good idea to have it this weekend. The entire meal had
30 total carbs. and it had lots of protein

Workout pain
Been working out for years lifting weights but recently when I squat or deadlift my back is screaming and my knees pop. Nothing happened to make me feel like it's injury related. Maybe just getting old but has anyone experienced similar? Lifting is my best way to clear my head so this is starting to

5th valve replacement - ready for the battle!
Well, Iām being admitted tomorrow for my 5th heart surgery (so far, 3 aortic valve replacement, 2 with aortic root, 1 mitral valve and a bypass.) and 2nd mitral valve. Theyāre hoping to do it minimally invasive to save opening my chest again due to my 3rd surgery being due to endocarditis but they will

Can Too Much Sleep Hurt Us?
Hi -- I am 73, have mild kidney failure, a lung disease, and since 2018 AFIB and mild heart failure. Even before the heart problems I was always tired. Now some days I am good for nothing and want to just sleep half of the day. I sleep so great & can fall asleep in like a minute. Usually 8 hours a night

Question re operation scar (4 years old)
More of a question for those who have had their heart operations some time ago. I had my bypass in 2017, I had a few initial problems but would say for the last 2 1/2 years apart from some numbness everything was good. For the last 2 - 3 weeks I have had an incredible itch and heat around the scar which

Optimal hormone
I realise often people take HRT to treat acute symptoms like hot flushes so it is easy to tell if the treatment is working or not, but I am taking it for long term benefits (
bone

) so it is not so easy to appraise. Thanks
