Estrogen content for bone health
I've been on Alendronic Acid since Dec 19 for
bone
health
. Now I wanted to switch to estrogen at 30 to 45 pg/dl. Got check for Estradiol in blood which showed 36.5pg. Is it possible with such low T levels following Orchidectomy that Estradiol would be so high?

I think I’ve asked this but I’m not sure I understood. Please be patient with me. If calcium and therefore also calcium rich foods - dairy obvs but also green leafy veg, soya etc, suppress levothyroxine, what do we do for bone healthy foods?

Vitamins to help bone healing
A recent broken wrist has led me to discover the importance of Vitamin C in
bone
health
. Unsurprising really, as it's important for collagen formation.

I have been on Ibandronic Acid for
bone

on a 150g monthly dose. Now I want to use low dose Estrogen based patches instead of Ibandronic Acid. I do the usual weights, exercises, and walking etc as well.

For 3 years I was on Eligard/Xtandi and was receiving Prolia to help keep
bone
health
. All good, undetectable. Then an 18 month vacation, which I am coming off of. All treatment to be the same as before, except th MO wants to change from Prolia to Zometa.

Collagen II/HIRT for Bone Health and Blood Test
Hi all, I take collagen II and do High Intensity Resistance Training every other day to help back off of osteoporosis. My problem is that I just had blood test results that informed me that I have elevated Liver enzymes which is not good. I was wondering if anyone else in this forum who exercises

melatonin & hashi's
Due to fact I need to start something for my
bone
health
, I have come across that melatonin along w/3other supplements shows great promise in resorption and building of bone. However, I have read that melatonin may interfere w/TSH levels.

Help re taking collagen powder
So, I have been investigating how to improve my
bone
health
, including weight bearing exercise and a good diet. I try to get a good hour’s walk in every day, run up and down 3 flights of stairs at home and always use stairs rather than escalator or lift!

DEXA sooner that 2 years?
It seems that if easily falls under "medically necessary" because of the damage ADT can do to
bone
health
, but I can't get a straight answer from Medicare. Thanks for any input.
