Been working out for years lifting weights but recently when I squat or deadlift my back is screaming and my knees pop. Nothing happened to make me feel like it's injury related. Maybe just getting old but has anyone experienced similar? Lifting is my best way to clear my head so this is starting to suck lol.

You have to listen to your body. Exercise that causes injury is not the way to go!! You might want to get yourself checked out and only exercise within safe limits.
Try Pilates or yoga it’s much better for your back and joints. It can also really help you to clear your head.
