Anaemia after TAVI
Blood
tests
over the years had showed that I was not much above the recommended thresholds, with my haematocrit being under.

Not GCA
They kept me at 40mgs over the weekend, and then to wait for
blood
tests
scheduled for today. The specialist nurse rang this afternoon to say my bloods were really good, and as I had not had immediate relief from the preds, I have not got GCA.

Speechless by my GP’s response
And the response suggests I am perimenopausal and asks about my periods - at least I am getting the
blood
tests
but sometimes when you think you aren’t being listened to, it’s because you’re really not. God it’s frustrating.

New Dr, Low TSH on T3
I've got a new Dr and I've been asked to have a telephone appointment following recent
blood
tests
. I'm on T3 and I know it's going to be about low TSH. Due to menopause brain fog I can't remember the info needed argie my case regarding this being OK when on T3.

hemoglobin dropping
My hwp's
blood
tests
are showing his hemoglobin levels are dropping. There will be some follow on tests on folic acid levels amongst others . I suggested maybe add test for B6. Any other suggestions for tests and/or treatment? Thanks!

Starting medication advice
I have done some private
blood
tests
and will be supplementing B12, D3 w K2, Ferritin and Folate as required once I have the results back. I was thinking of holding off on the Thyroxine until i am supplementing adequately as I know deficiencies can impact absorbance of the medication.

First antibody test results
Every now and again I ask for various
blood
tests
to be repeated to rule out any underlying illnesses that could be masked by the ME (blood count, kidney/liver function etc). On a few occasions over the past 7-8-ish years, my TSH has been raised or towards the top end of normal.

Recently diagnosed with hashimotos but need some advice/help
When I have asked to get
blood
tests
for vitamins etc I have been told there is no point till my bowel is moving. The only results they have shared with me are the below, having asked numerous times for the full results: your free T3 was a bit low at 3.64, just below the reference range.

How can one person be so Lucky?
It is an extremely fast growing cancer and there are no
blood
tests
or any other tests that will reveal it before it metastasizes and starts shutting organs down. Average life expectancy after it metastasizes is about 3 months, 70-80% of people discover the cancer that way.

How often are adults given general anaesthesia by gas/mask induction over IV? (UK Based)
I know when I have
blood
tests
; it often takes them multiple attempts and time to find my veins with lots of prodding around in my arms, so just wondering if they would offer me GA by mask induction, and then do the IV once I’m under, or if it'll be IV only?

Blood

: In late June My ferritin was 33 and iron saturation 49% . so…My GP doctor recommended I take daily iron supplements but she did not recommend an infusion. Not sure why as we discussed the Mayo Clinic RLS protocols.

Climbing TSH What should I expect to happen treatment wise
I have had a variety of thyroid
blood
tests
done over the last 12 months. The First few showed subclinical hyperthyroidism. Then one test recently showed subclinical hypothyroidism. I don’t feel like myself. I have no get up and go at all. I’m either uncomfortably hot or uncomfortably cold.

Pre-diagnosis, any words of wisdom
GP is sending for
blood
tests
and in a panic I've also booked an appointment privately. My mum has RA (though has been in remission best part of 20 years which seems pretty amazing from my googling). Pretty convinced I have it too.

I was just changed from monthly
blood
tests
to 6 months and 6 month check ups....the doc said I was stable and there was a good chance i would never need treatment. I am 76 and maybe he thought I would naturally not live that long.

After a round of
blood

I found I had really low levels of Vitamin D . I have been on a high dose since mid October. Energy levels back to normal now but the depression was so bad just before Christmas I was put on Fluoxetine.
