Raised liver levels
When I asked him why he said it could point to
blood
cancer
. He then said it’s very rare and he’s not concerned so not to worry about it. Well, thanks for that as I’m now worrying myself sick.

the DARE trial....anyone familiar with it, been in it?
the trial is ongoing screening of your
blood
every 6 months, checking for ctDNA (
cancer
tumor DNA)....if it is found you begin a treatment regimen...if not they just continue to screen you for 2 years...any thoughts?

I have been told it can turn into
blood
cancer
. I'm worried sick I have a 6 Yr old and I wanted to see him grow..but maybe I cant. The heamotogist said turmeric is good and can reduce but I cant take that as I'm in adoxaban for life and it can cause internal bleeding.

Does anyone have CtDna blood test added In their monitoring routine?
I found this CtDna
blood
test that SUPPOSEDLY detects
cancer
cells in the
blood
up to 10 months sooner than a Petscan.

Reply to issues with Spleen
It’s taken a long time for me to get my head around CLL and living life long with
blood
cancer
. I try hard not to let it define me. I don’t see a reason for them to take your spleen it should be a last resort as everyone else has said you need it for as long as able. Hope this helps !

Cancer return alert without scan or PSA ?
I'm more curious than anything to hear if you knew the
cancer
had returned somehow before any scan or
blood
test really told you? Pain? Bladder issues? Other signs ??? I'm wondering how many really knew somehow or sensed it and it was later confirmed ?

Diet Advice for ET please
The doctor told me very abruptly that I had a
blood
cancer
and would have to take chemotherapy for the rest of my life. She went on to say that I should never eat red meat and that I should not take any breakfast cereal which is fortified with vitamins, etc.
