I would start with red meat, iron supplements and B12 injections. Helped me immensely

Anemia labs (iron, TIBC, ferritin, B12, and folate) will let diagnose any nutritional deficiency that would indicate iron, B12 or folate deficiency.

Anemia of chronic disease is common with cancer, but sometimes there may be an underlying cause that can be treated.

Taking iron without known deficiency is dangerous because the body can’t get rid of excess iron. B12 and folate supplements are OK because any excess is excreted.

And try to limit unnecessary blood tests and/or frequency

Thankyou for your reply. Tbh my dad has had lots of blood tests all through December and Jan.

Maybe the end of Feb his bloods will be ok.
